  1. Great idea USA Blue. I am prepared to put some money in to buy a young Rovers fan, who is not in a position to afford it, a half season ticket. Paul, if you and others are up for it we can call it a BRISA initiative. How much will it cost and lets see if there are any other takers.
  2. Spot on report RB, sounds like you went to the same game I did and did not get carried away with the "lets blame every one else brigade". Hughes, the Team and the Board have a lot of hard thinking over the next few days.
  3. Toogs was awesome Gray was fantastic Pederson was his usual bag of s***e. Hughes when are you going to do something about the donkey. Fantastic goal from Toogs; it was definately a penalty to them but no sending off. The subsequent "penalty" call was no penalty, I was in line with the incident from the JW and it hit his boobies. Crap support from the Rovers, only any noise at all when booing the shrek in green near the end; the 2K from Spuds were louder and I was close to the BBE. We are in deep cackie with poor football and with a rapidly depleting fan base. HELP
  4. I hope to goodness that I am wrong on this but I cannot see anything but a drubbing against us. With a gate boosted by 2000 Spuds we may still even struggle to "achieve" 18,000 with a lorra luck!!
  5. Don't touch Dunny with a bargepole. Too injury prone and never more than a fair to middling player.
  6. looked about only 150ish on the telly. we were garbage, why would people pay good bucks to watch that c**p? I would rate Peter as MOTM, otherwise Benni and Roberts (until injured) had their backs to goal nearly all game. Gray was a joker and even Toogs took to passing to the opposition more than usual.
  7. JORDAN LAPDANCING No No Non Cancel my tickets 1864 i'm feeling seasick already pass me the sick bag
  8. "tagging along"my backside. More like leading from the front apart from when it's my round
  9. darn it match 1 in Las Vegas match 2 in Barbados they better be on satelite telly match 3 in Cheltenham
  10. sorry if this has been posted elsewhere but what are the dates for the group stages please..I need to book a few days off and plan the diary?
  11. give me Amsterdam away; I have a freebie return flight on VLM from Manchester or Liverpool to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Paris to be used by the end of the year. alternatively Tel Aviv would be ideal as we go and visit "the homeland" every year and I know the place well...fantastic night life!
  12. try the South Lancs Rovers for the coach from Chorley and Leyland. Details on their web site
  13. [what pubs everyone in pre match? ] Golden Lion, next to the away end
  14. sorry mate , not making it up, just telling it as she told me, maybe she can't count. For info the Official Travel have 7 coaches which are all full.
  15. according to the Official Board (under ticket info) our initial allocation was 2904. Picked my ticket up at 3pm and the lassie said only 150 left.
  16. as at 3pm only 150 tickets left. I believe our allocation was 2900. Looks like a resonable turn out.
  17. yep, a new "Preston Rovers" flag with brfc in each quarter
  18. simple law of economics and choice. Lad who was sat next to me last night has a ST for 20 yrs and gave up last season and now goes max 5 times per season, he was part of a group of 32 who had ST's....only 1 now bothers!!!! They go to the pub!
  19. Observer says 7.45pm...Lee what time is the KO please and don't forget to tell Lucas Neill, it would be nice if he turned up for a game
  20. even before yesterday I was worried about this one. Arteta is class and Beattie will be looking forward to his return to Ewood. I can't see us getting a result and the gate, swelled by thieves, will be around 20k to 21k.
  21. could not bring myself to post after returning last night. This was about the worst performance in the last 5 seasons. If I were to give marks out of 10 then only two would make 5: Savage and Brad, and even Brad was inconsistent. We played the long ball game and only Brett, when he came on and ran at pompey, caused them problems. Bentley, Axe and Neill were appalling and as for Gamst he was nothing short of a music hall joke. we need to get the wheels back on for Everton on Weds but I dread the thought of Beattie against our defence...of course there is always next Sunday, will we have have defenders left to play against Chelski? All in all nothing short of a disgrace to those loyal blues who gave up good time and money to watch soft crap
