  1. To be fair, he is a good human....
  2. Difference is, their manager is miles better.
  3. Could not agree more re the pint thing. It’s almost like they don’t expect loads of people to buy stuff at half time.... The last two home games in JW upper, they have run out of pies before half time!
  4. Mowbray bi-polar- @OnePhilT I like that! I want him to do well, I really do. But then he frustrates the hell out of me with the decisions he makes ?.
  5. If we need to grow matchday revenue, then we need to think of things to entice the fans, rather than put up obstacles.... (match day surcharge, ticket price vs SWFC, price of pies/booze, I could go on).
  6. Lads/lasses- I know we will all be hyped for new year’s eve tonight, but can we simmer down and be a bit nicer to each other, please? Thanks.
  7. Clearly people posting on here, that asked the question....
  8. We always get this close to the play offs and blow it though, so it’s all relative.
  9. Just read that Huddersfield came from behind to beat us for the first time in 2 and a half years. Good old Rovers, helping teams get out of slumps. It’s the season of giving, I suppose....
  10. We need to replace Bradley Dack’s goals.
  11. But he wins football matches at this level. Craig Bellamy and Robbie Savage were the same, but they were great for us! It’s a manager we need, not a saint.
  12. I can’t see anything other than a defeat here, unfortunately. Obviously, I’d love the lads to prove me wrong, though!!
  13. I’ve got a bad feeling that this season’s January will mirror last season’s. Being close to the play offs, not strengthening, going on a horrific run, etc. Glad we’ve got our next home game against PNE though. Sure our lads have the fire in their bellies to finally beat them again..... Come on lads, prove me wrong, please!!
  14. Rhian Brewster looks like he’s on his way to Swansea on loan. Think we should have been all over that tbh.
  15. It’s not just that though, is it? In league one, we could get away with playing well for part of a game, due to the quality of the opposition. The problem in a league higher is that we can’t get away with it, for the same reason. You’d think the manager would notice this...
  16. I never said it was a top 6 squad? Spending £12 Million on two strikers, one of which we aren’t allowed to judge yet will be his undoing. Especially after saying defenders were coming and not signing nearly enough. Of course it counts, but the fact is, being however close to the play offs is irrelevant, as we won’t make them.
  17. The problem is, there needs to be criticism allowed of the manager, he’s not infallible. If you play players out of position as often as he does, then you put yourself up there to be shot at. The being close to the playoffs thing is irrelevant to me. Even if we are as close as that, we have a bad habit of fluffing it when we get that close. I obviously hope the players prove me wrong and end up there though!
  18. Seen a load on the Facebook page criticising folk for not being proper supporters..... Mowbray is very well shielded from above and from within. There really are some that cannot handle any criticism of him whatsoever.
  19. After last time where Coyle was ultimately appointed, sadly, I don’t think there’s any chance he’d come here... (Though obviously, I’d love it if that wasn’t the case!!)
  20. Unless anyone is being sarcastic when they said how many points we are off the play offs, I’d do yourselves a favour and forget about it, it won’t be happening.
  21. It’s been a while since this argument reared it’s head. No, it really doesn’t. From me personally, it just means I love Rovers more than I hate Venky’s.
  22. Is it? Just seems the same as normal. Still not sure why people still push this negative vs positive thing or even speak of agendas. It’s only words from people you’ll likely never meet....
  23. Whilst I fundamentally agree with what you’re saying, Travis certainly was more dynamic when he came into the team than he is now. I do agree his performances haven’t been as good of late, but you always get 100% from him. As it goes, if Travis hadn’t been following Mowbray’s instructions, I don’t think he would be in the team.
  24. Shall we file those prophecies among Rhodes to Bolton, us winning 4-1 at home every week and a licence to print money?
