Millwall away Saturday 12th Jan kick off 17.30

Yep, he cut my hair today as it happens! -
100% right. Sadly, people fall for it every single time. Very frustrating.

I took a dig at Brereton? Swing and a miss there, I'm afraid! I'd have mentioned him by name if I were having a dig at him! I've been incredibly fair on Brereton so far and am giving him loads of time, so if you want to start querying people's stances on him, I'd suggest a different target.....
-
If it's on TV, even if it's cheap, there won't be loads on, I guarantee it. I'm a season ticket holder and if it's on TV midweek, I'd think twice about going (as much as I'm the first to admit that there's no substitute for being there).

I just think that people are being way too harsh about players who've barely been given a chance, but still contributed. Not saying the lad is a world beater by any stretch of the imagination, but I think we could have used him better.
-
Being honest, I think the Chelsea thing isn't something I take too much into consideration. Particularly when you consider they still have absolutely loads of players under contract that will never end up in the first team. For example, Todd Kane, formerly of this parish is still under contract there and on about his 10th loan......

1 goal in the league and 2 in the league cup. More than many others in the squad.....
-
He's really not, we just haven't used him right, or enough. 1 goal in the league and 2 in the league cup. He's chipped in with more goals than some I could mention....

Ep 107 - Caldwell's Rovers Connections Pt 2 of 2
K-Hod replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I'll give this a listen at some point! I actually saw him at an Ocean Colour Scene gig at Manchester Apollo a few years ago. He's incredibly tall in person! -
Disappointed with how the Palmer thing has transpired tbh. Think he could have contributed more for sure, but he also probably hasn't been used correctly/enough in the main. I suppose it doesn't detract from the fact that we need to sign proper wingers to enable us to play Reed in his best position. I suppose that's wishful thinking though....

(To be fair, I think you’ve already posted them all ?) The Internet- Special Affair -
I don’t know, I’d say it suits him perfectly! The team is built around him and the amount of goals he’s scored would say he’s fairly well suited to it!!
-
Honestly can’t remember seeing him play for us tbh. Although I obviously have. I’d like it if it worked out for him with us, but I can’t see it....

Apparently as well, the lad Doidge had just bought a house in the Bolton area..... That Ken Anderson lad really is the pits!
-
Forest Green Rovers chairman comments below. Copied and pasted from Facebook... From Monday morning, Christian Doidge is back with FGR. We've taken the decision to recall him after his loan agreement expired last week amid continual contractual breaches by Bolton Wanderers. It became clear to us that Bolton entered into a contract to loan and then buy Christian last August without the means to honour it, and perhaps the intention to do so as well. They haven't even paid his wages for the last four months (we have). It's not just FGR that have been let down badly by Bolton, but Christian too. Bolton's Chairman, Ken Anderson, made a lot of promises on the last day of the transfer window, both to Christian and FGR, and has kept none of them. This is all his work and from talking to Ken he feels immune from the consequences - but some of these promises are written in legally binding contracts, and we'll be pursuing them. When the dust settles, we'll talk to the EFL about how they regulate clubs like Bolton. They already regulate the club to a degree, controlling all TV monies to make sure that football debts get paid. Hard not to wonder whether the league could also have a role in approving the terms of any contracts entered into - to make sure that they are actually within the means of the club. We had no way to know, but the EFL should have the inside view on that. And finally (for now...) - Disappointing as it is to see this go pear shaped, both for FGR and Christian, I'm also excited by the prospect of the second half of the season with Christian back with us. I'm sure all FGR fans everywhere will join me in welcoming him back ?

He was much better against WBA as well. Hopefully the tide is turning with him!

Saw an interview with Keith Gillespie on one of those Premier League programmes on Sky earlier on. Basically talking about how he ended up gambling so much and the bankruptcy. Came across very well I thought. Proper shame how it all happened though!

Internet 101- NEVER read the comments.

To be fair BDS, the other day you were asking for people to own up to thinking Wigan's transfer business was better than ours.....
-
I've never said anyone hadn't called for Mowbray's head, to be fair. I only said he was getting plenty of praise.....
-
You're preaching to the choir. I like Mowbray and don't want him to be fired. I just want us to stop shipping so many late goals at an alarming rate. Is it alright for me to want the best for my club?

Makes all the Ipswich fans that wanted him gone look very silly imo. It all goes to show what a hell of a job he was doing with a poor squad and the players obviously knew that as well. Only him or Allardyce could have saved them. They’re finished for this season!
