I met him tonight at The Aspinall Arms while I was out for something to eat and he was more than happy to have a photo and chat! Top man!

P. S Nyambe was quality when he came on!

Frustrating today, similar to QPR game last week in that we had loads of chances but were wasteful. Difference being, they had a goal threat... Nobody let themselves down today. Thought Bell and Rodwell looked good and Brereton made the goal and for me, gets better every game. Bottom line, we didn’t get beat, I’m off to have a few beers and to come on here hungover. Better than posting after a skin full, I suppose...

NEVER read the comments, especially on the LT!

Watched that Sheffield derby. Christ, Wednesday got battered, no idea how they managed a draw. Cracking save from the penalty, though!

PNE are odd and have Burnley like levels of obsession when it comes to us. (I say this as someone with PNE supporters in my own family!)

I think people have been really harsh on Palmer so far. He's chipped in with goals and fair enough, he can lose possession at times, but at the weekend, he did some very good defensive work. Although Mowbray has played him there, Reed and Palmer don't play in the same position usually......

As much as it would be nice for us to sign him as he's clearly very well liked here and looked very good in cameos, I don't think I'm alone in having grave concerns about the amount of injuries he's sustained in his career already.....

Not saying Dack isn't good enough for the PL, but for Spurs? There's Alli and Eriksen at the very least ahead of him in his favoured position there and he isn't better than them. Not to mention Moura or Lamela also playing there occasionally. Seems a very unlikely link to me.

Out of favour at Reading at the moment, seemingly. Allegedly something to do with an attitude problem, but I've no idea what the crack is. Seems like Clement has an axe to grind with him from when he had him at Swansea....

We're certainly doing better than I expected. I'd be pleased if we finished top half or better tbh. Ecstatic with anything more.....

Elliott Smith- The Biggest Lie -
I don’t think we played particularly well, but a win is a win ultimately! Palmer lost the ball a lot, but made up for it by defending well, I thought.
-
I actually thought he did well yesterday after coming on tbh. Some of the comments saying some on here want him to fail are just a bit bizarre. Why on earth would any Rovers fan want any Rovers player not to succeed? Seems like some strange point scoring to me.....

Proper war of attrition this half from both sides. Lots of graft, but lacking in quality.

The caveat for me is that we aren’t really the kind of club that spends that amount of money on someone for the future, we aren’t Man City... Mercer’s posts above probably would have looked more reasonable with ‘so far’ added.

I think he always looks good when he plays does Palmer. He must be tearing his hair out...

Again, I’m going to need examples.... Dismissing people by calling them negative or accusing them of not trusting Mowbray is attempting to shut people down. Can’t people question individual decisions, but trust Mowbray in the bigger picture? Occasionally, even Guardiola will make mistakes, but I’m sure City fans acknowledge those mistakes but trust him overall. Football fans are all the same, to be fair. I trust Mowbray implicitly and I love the bloke, but sometimes he makes mistakes, as do all of us. That shouldn’t mean I can’t highlight those mistakes, but still not trust him overall. He’s a hell of a lot of big mistakes away from his position being anything like under consideration. And even if it was, nobody on this forum is judge, jury and executioner...

Fair one, I stand corrected. ?
