  1. I don't think it's negative to highlight things such as: We concede too many late goals/we conceded late again the other night not long after scoring. We dropped our two best attacking players to the bench the other night. Our first choice right back is on the bench and another player that isn't a right back is currently playing there. If anyone cares about the club, why aren't they allowed to highlight such concerns about this great club that we all support without being labelled negative?
  2. I love it when people make stuff up and read what hasn't been written......
  3. Don't be shy, where's that?? £4.20 for Moretti in my local....
  4. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47234482 It's strange that Andy Townsend doesn't seem to have a problem with James McClean, Darron Gibson, Marc Wilson and Shane Duffy doing pretty much the same thing for Northern Ireland, then switching allegiances to The Republic. Funny that.....
  5. Bennett is fine as a squad player as he grafts and can play a couple of different positions competently (right back is not one of those positions). He doesn't make our strongest XI for me though.
  6. I know he's not available, Chaddy. Just making the point that he can't get to full fitness soon enough when we have to play Conway!!
  7. Judging by his Instagram, him and his missus were having a lovely night at a Teppanyaki restaurant. Meanwhile, Craig Conway was wheeled out for us.......
  8. If there's anyone on a wind up about Graham it's got to be you, to be fair!
  9. Always makes me laugh when folk complain about an over-reaction after a defeat. If you want reason and rationality immediately after a defeat, I'd probably do the unthinkable if I were you and log off. This ain't a place for the faint-hearted at that time! We just lost for the third time in a row, to a team that were in the bottom three until we let them out of it. What do you expect? Cartwheels and bunting? We've got two very difficult games coming up in Middlesbrough at home, then Birmingham City away. There's no let up after that, we've got Rotherham away, then Preston and Wigan at home. The latter two, we really are owed results from after the maulings at their hands earlier in the season. We keep shipping late goals, we defend terribly, our best players were on the bench yesterday and people rightly have concerns. Which are translated as over-reactions. They aren't over-reactions if they're the same concerns over and over again. People are frustrated as we are capable of so much better, therefore they bloody well should expect so. Come on Tony, let's have a marked improvement at the double, please!
  10. Pre kick off it looked like he was throwing the game and so it proved. But we don’t need reinforcements in January and we don’t have a problem in defence or with conceding late goals, or going to pieces after conceding one. No problems here lads, move on....
  11. 3 minutes after we equalised. Not quite as impressive as Leeds away, but impressive nonetheless. Impressive just how many ways we have of losing from good positions.
  12. It looked like he picked the wrong team tonight and so it proved. Simplicity is a beautiful thing, Tony....
  13. To be fair, you don’t have to be a defender to know that’s a bad a idea...
  14. What, two whole posts?
  15. Why is our best player on the bench? Why are Evans and Smallwood playing together in the same team? Why can’t we score against a team in the bottom three? Fundamentally Tony, just why?
  16. Conway is starting and Dack isn’t. It’a going as well as can be hoped.
  17. Well, that’s certainly not the team I would have picked, for a number of reasons.... Come on Tony and team, prove me wrong!
  18. 1st half, United were decent to be fair. They went to pieces when Lingard and Martial got injured. 2nd half, admittedly, it was men against boys.....
  19. Losing 3-1 to a team in the bottom three after two straight defeats would quite rightly lead to an outpouring of frustration and anger, to be fair. If anyone wants a reasonable reaction, they probably shouldn't come on here right after a defeat. People usually think more clearly once they've slept on it....
  20. If Reading win, they get out of the bottom three, so that's one hell of an incentive to beat us!
  21. You've got a right bee in your bonnet with Paul Lambert, haven't you? Christ! I thought it was just because it was something else to talk to Chaddy about......
  22. I've got a bad feeling about this one with where they are in the league and two defeats on the spin for us. But knowing us, we will probably spring a surprise and win there! Let's hope we do...
  23. Much more accurately summed up. Also, Ipswich really are bad and won't find it easy next season.
  24. Serves people right for buying Foster's.....
  25. Ipswich will have to have an overhaul if they go down anyway, that usually happens. Hardly surprising they were beaten yesterday, even with it being their local rivals, Norwich are top of the league and Ipswich are rock bottom. I agree with JH Rover re Lambert, if he doesn't stay there, he will struggle to get another job ever again really. He's now got a reputation as a bit of a quitter, so he needs to rebuild said reputation by staying somewhere a while and doing the business. Whether he sticks around to make that happen or not remains to be seen. Either way, Ipswich are doomed and have been for quite some time. It all comes back to the fact that the Ipswich fans should have been careful what they wished for when they hounded out Mick McCarthy, who ironically would have been one of the only managers that could have rescued them from the mess Hurst left them in.
