  1. The tune thing is the big problem with the Smallwood song. Many don't seem to know Earth Wind and Fire- September (if that's you, you're missing out, it's a banger!) It's played before kick-off every game as well..
  2. I think it was at Nottingham Forest away last season we sang his name to the tune of Chaka Khan- Ain’t nobody....
  3. Think he might have been involved at Derby or Hull at some point, if I’m not mistaken... In any case, The Sun do have form for telling porky pies...
  4. Dack is the best footballer at the club for me, but in terms of graft and desire, it really is hard to look beyond Bennett. Not everyone’s cup of tea on here based on posts but he plays like a lifelong fan when he’s out there in our colours.
  5. Has anyone played this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Resident-Evil-Biohazard-PS4-PSVR/dp/B01GVN0CQ6/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1524048815&sr=1-1&keywords=resident+evil If so, is it any good? I'm looking for a new game to get stuck into and I've got a PS4, so any recommendations would be welcome! (I like pretty much all games).
  6. Ha, nah to be fair. I've seen a few on Facebook that went on last night that either support us or another team like.....
  7. As I was born, raised and educated in Accrington, it really is good to see them get promoted. It's an amazing achievement for them. *Now for goodness' sake Rovers, make sure we aren't playing them in a competitive fixture next season!*.
  8. Also, on Sunderland, Darron Gibson has been in court (for the second time) for drink driving (this time took place 6 months or so after he was un banned) and I hadn't realised he had left them by 'mutual consent'. The judge hasn't ruled out jail time as he crashed into several cars and drove off, even wrote off one young lad's car. When you add Jack Rodwell being on £70k a week and not playing and under contract for another year, you start to think they might even be in more of a mess than we were when we were first in the Championship. At least we had a few years in there, double dip relegations (as is most likely) could be catastrophic....
  9. Managerial appointments are absolutely vital and fans often have a blindspot to this when they feel entitled to watch 'good football' (whatever that is), even when their club hasn't got a pot to whizz in. This just in- good football and good players cost money! Lots of it!
  10. Warnock is just deflecting from his own team’s penalty misses late on. Cretin that guy.
  11. In short, no. Everyone likes different things Vinjay so I can’t personalise the forum to yours or anyone else’s specification. I’ll leave it there as you’ve missed my point and you keep ranting in posts about things I didn’t even say.
  12. I've no desire to over- think or over-complicate things Vinjay. I feel like it can be summed up simply as: They're relevant geographically (especially as I live and work quite near to their ground) and are being talked about much more locally as in spite of loads of financial problems historically, they're punching above their weight. Perhaps it's different in Blackburn, I don't live there and only go to Blackburn to play football at Soccer Dome, watch Rovers or occasionally pick something up from the town centre as there's a massive lack of shops in Accrington in comparison. If you don't think they're relevant to you, no worries, but you could always just keep scrolling onto the next thread or not say anything, you know?
  13. Given that if they are promoted and we aren't, they'll be in the same league as us and the fact that a lot of Rovers fans (myself included) live in Accrington/Hyndburn, then I'd say it's very relevant!
  14. It proper makes me cringe seeing Rovers fans go and watch Accy Stanley who don't watch us any more.
  15. Not necessarily. I think people ultimately know what they're doing is wrong then they still do it, they shouldn't expect sympathy when things go belly up. Incidentally, I've all the sympathy in the world for people having a tough time upstairs as it's absolutely horrible when you are.
  16. He’s a bit of a gimp on the Internet, but on the pitch he’s a proper professional and works very hard. Chips in with vital goals and assists for club and country. A certain starter on current form for me.
  17. Has to be Lingard over Alli on current form, lad’s been shocking.
  18. As Blueboy said, if that was Bradley Dack on Thursday and we didn't get the penalty, people would be going ape......
  19. They reached the correct decision ultimately, it was a definite penalty. Technology can easily work in football, it just perhaps needs a different format (i.e. like in other sports).
  20. No VAR on Friday and we should have had a penalty, VAR tonight and we concede one because of it....Life.
