Whilst I do think the criticism of Benson in the past has been a little OTT, it he’s our set piece coach and we don’t defend them well, it’s surely to be expected that he’s in the firing line?

I don’t think it’s just how we defend set pieces either. I don’t remember our set pieces ever being this poor before.

Probably because they’ve had years of having their own way and the only way to compete with them, is to spend loads of money. Let’s not forget the United benefitted the most from the inception of the PL and Sky TV. Unless everyone would rather the teams that have been huge for years would just win everything every year forever anyway….
