  1. official pompy support was 306 - footie liaison officer at GBANK
  2. Howay the lads
  3. If he doesnt leave before weekend I would say his farewell appearance will be against qpr. Kuqi needs a rest and limped off last night. Dickov has worked his little legs off and needs a rest Bellers will play 90 mins I am sure so that will allow MJ to take his bow for the final time in a Rovers shirt.
  4. I dont think he will receive a ban if found guilty, I think he is looking at a fine for improper comments winkers
  5. Despite the moans and groans not ONE Rovers supporter can have any complaints whatsoever. 9 points out of 9 FFS 3 Premiership wins on the bounce and 2 away wins at that 8th place in the league way above big city fc As for the crowd, 400 from pompy, it was never expected to beat 20k was it ? I mean, QPR at home in the FA Cup, quickly followed by manure at home in the semi final suitably followed by the winkers at home in the league. For an adult alone that little lot will set you back a cool £62.00 for a Blackburn End seat. I cant be doing with the griping. Rovers won period, Rovers are shooting up the league, Rovers are playing good football, hard but fair, Rovers are in the mood for a major cup set and a challenge for European football. if any Rovers fan would have been told that on 2nd Jan 06 we would only be 3 points behind the arsenal, there would have been more coronaries in Blackburn than Lytham st Annes Get over it and get on with it. QPR Next oh by the way TAXI FOR TAYLOR
  6. I think that I have the answer. I do believe that Lawrenson actually applied for the Managers job a good few years back (around the Don Mackay era) and was laughed out at interview. And that comes from a footballing icon who has Rovers in his heart
  7. Now then Matt your'e very much an Ewood legend thanks for the memories, the goals and we have seen many. My personal high points PNE away - the clinching goal for promotion, oh what a night. Cardiff and the Worthington Cup Final, a great opening goal and you set the ball rolling. Norwich home - a simply wonderful left foot strike. Bumley home - a majestic goal that was superbly taken. There are many many more and it was such a shame that England discarded your services which led ultimately to the accident that ruined a career. You may have gone, but your goals, your performances and your simple attitude will forever be remembered by all at Ewood. So long mate and good luck.
  8. did no one else pick up on the comments of mrs brady from big city fc in todays sun ?
  9. gareth dont underestimate Rovers of course they can keep this run up. Rovers have picked up 6 points on the road and won a cup tie. We now have pompy home qpr in the fa cup manure at home in the CC semi winkers at home in the league It shows just how far Rovers have come in the pst 12 months in that we can look forward with confidence to each of them. I was concerned that Rovers got manure in the cup, but on the face of it, why should we be worried when we have already shown we can take old t and beat them on their own mudheap. I think January will be the making of BLACKBURN ROVERS season
  10. went corporate, hic hic great result no complaints whatsoever no ratings today fans fabulous from Ewood, crap for pieland best moment of the day - When Reid launched the spectacular howitzer, I jumped up, caught my Wigan associate plumb in the bonce, blood everywhere and all I could do was shout "YOU SHUTTTTTTT UUUPPPPPPPPP" Asked for a clear haul from Santa from Chrimbo, so I got my fill. Happy New Year everyone, see you at Ewood Monday
  11. all to reguess the score graham poll is the ref judging by his totally inept performance at Everton the other night I dread to think how many cards he will dish out on Saturday
  12. manure only want to giver Rovers 3000 tickets for the match due to heavy home demand !!
  13. and it takes a long time for them to subtact £4.50 from a fiver
  14. It always helps if you have inside knowledge I think with tonights freezing winds and lowering temp ANY club with undersoil heating may face problems as we HAVE NOT had these cold temperatures for many a year. MAYBE some of the systems are unable to cope with such a drop in temp. In any case, I know that the Wigan match is NOT 100% safe, they have the exact system as Rovers
  15. looks like they may lose lua lua poor travelling record at Ewood, frost free pitch, sub 23000k supporters, 200 from pompy, freezing cold wet and damp night see a Rovers 2-0 win
  16. I was on my 4th pint when I got a call from the ground. Not too surprised and am now back home and am going to indulge in the merseyside derby of theives. Cant blame the club cant blame the undersoil heating cant blame anyone except good old mother nature its absolutley frezzing and I would suspect most undersoil heating systems would have struggled. it aint that cold in london or the midlands compared to the frozen outlands of the north west
  17. pb your crowd prediction is way off. a holiday fixture at home with at least 3000 from sunderland will see a plus 22k crowd, probably more with stead if he cant handle a bit of extra fitness training then we were better off and the manager was right to get rid. sunderland are a poor outfit, heads drop as soon as the opposition score so it is imperative for Rovers to notch early doors. lawrenson is a complete clown (its christmas and I wont lower myself anymore), let him talk up Rovers on tv and then on the bbci website predict nothing more than a home draw or loss. Its him that doesnt matter whereas us Rovers fans are the one who make the proper judgements on our team. All Rovers have to do is put his comments in a one liner on the team board and let them shoot him down. only 7 hours until we arrive at the Watersedge for a reet good session, just got to do the jobs the wife ordered me to do then its on with the footie kit, fill the pockets with dosh and hop in the lift to the pub for a good few carlings Happy New Year
  18. I was one of the doubters, I have no problems admitting so. Now I am very much a big fan of the Kuqi Monster, his effort is class, he may not be the most skilful on the ball, he may be somewhat slower thinking but there is no doubting his heading ability and his heart is clearly in BRFC. Well done big fella, more on Wednesday
  19. cant see why anyone will doubt Rovers winning this. cant see why anyone should doubt a 23k plus crowd Rovers to win 2-0 Kuqi and Bellamy
  20. I dont see Rovers winning this one in fact I am prepared for a pointless Boxing Day Night moaning wife nagging kids family tantrums and a Rovers loss will drive me to the drink
  21. come on you cant be surprised, its a BLOODY FIX I tell you
  22. 103.9 radio lancs den
  23. Yes the cup draw is officially at 2200hrs tonight. However, ROVERITE can safely post the draw as an EXCLUSIVE to BRFCS Manure versus Wigan Rovers/Boro versus Arsenal You heard it here first anyone else with the conspiracy theory as per two years ago
