  1. You clearly have no idea about me!! In his pocket ? I am one if those who take him to task face to face not by way of a keyboard or a supporters forum 🤨
  2. Pure speculation and nothing ever materialised in fact I believe there was no foundation in it at all
  3. You cannot in any way put this into the same bracket as buying a football club. And for example, people really do knock on your door to buy a house, we have experienced it !
  4. The Glaziers - as bad as venkys - opened and entertained bids from interested parties for them to consider. With venkys under considerable financial constraints/pressure at home I am suggesting that the time is right to sell or at least offer investment to limit their ever rising costs. If there was to be any bids then I am sure we would hear about it, truth is there isnt and other than offers muted many moons ago, its all gone quiet. We regularly hear from SW and the accounts a same old rhetoric that they will continue to fund the club however they are clearly not funding investment in the playing staff, merely paying lip service. So, again, my view is that IF there was a potential buyer, and whether the club is on the market or not, the current situation makes it the kind of situation that could be exploited. As a forum poster mentioned, if the club was managed correctly then we wouldn't see the horrendous annual losses, we would undoubtedly see a vast increase in income, supporters may well return in droves and commercially the club could hit boom town. Sadly, as it seems, the only way is down under these owners and are being led by a one eyed CEO who it seems is intent on ignoring the fan base. What Rovers must avoid is administration because simply, it will destroy what infrastructure is still intact, namely the academy and the players coming through the youth system.
  5. Ainsworth only needs to use a single one line team message. "rollover Rovers are in town"
  6. Not really. The point being is that IF there was any potential buyer interested in BRFC they would be putting in offers. Manure are not for sale but they have had several interested parties who have made bids and which have been considered (not yet accepted). If there were any potential buyers, again, they would be thinking there is a real possibility of purchasing the club on the cheap even looking at initial investment opportunities - truth is there isnt. I am pretty bloody sure that if venkys had any interested parties in investing then they would take it owing to the fact they have financial issues ongoing through the courts back home. The current climate is ripe for a bid or investment and yet there is no interest. So it really is not a brainless view at all.
  7. But where are the potential buyers? Why is no one showing any interest? Surely, it there was legitimate interest in buying BRFC then I would expect someone to have made a bid because surely Venkys have to realise its the right time to faff off and leave.
  8. Sadly, its more misery on the road for Rovers. Just the fact QPR have won only 1 in 19 and Rovers are next uo makes it a certainty of a Rover roll over. Injuries and a lack of backing for the manager catch up. Its going to be a miserable 2 weeks in the bottom 3🥵
  9. There are only two real scenarios. Venkys just abandon the club and hand it to over to a receiver/administrative company. A buyer emerges, venkys accept the offer and take their debt with them. They wont be arsed about a fan revolt neither will SW, and on that basis, is it an option for the home support to vent their spleen rather than get behind the team? I dont think it would even cause a ripple of interest from anyone other than creating more discontent amongst the home fans.
  10. Morning after another defeat on the road. Rovers play some great football at times, it really is quality stuff HOWEVER, tippy tappy passing around the box and area doesnt bring goals, they appear too frightened to pull the trigger and that really does annoy me. Last night Dolan had a good game, Coventry were frightened stiff but instead of taking players on he backs off, twirls like a fairy then passes backwards! So so frustrating. With Hill in the team we are more compact however JRC in the middle did little to offer protection or anything going forward, in fact I was surprised he lasted the first half. The taking of chances is becoming embarrassing and costly. Like many games before, we fail to capitalise and then get done on a sucker punch. The ref? even worse than the VAR fuck ups we are seeing every weekend, referees are so poor across the leagues and its time they are brought to account for their failures. Last night the ref was right in view of the Rovers goal which he gave. He then spoke to his linesperson a fair distance away and who didnt flag and then decided to award a free kick. I cannot fathom how he came to that decision. He shouldnt have been reffing in the first place after his poor performance at Ewood last season in the same game. JDT clearly is hamstrung by the inept SW and senior management team. He is to be admired for sticking around after lie after lie by the non existent owners and the utter diabolical manner in which they continue to defile our once great club. I watched a rerun of whats happened to Blackburn Rovers this morning, its truly heart breaking and it is all at the hands of Venkys.
  11. Now that is something that has never been mentioned around the walls of Ewood
  12. One thing is for sure, Wednesdays game cannot be any worse than we did here last season. Alongside the Wigan away match, it was the poorest performance on the road. Its another tough one for us, not expecting anything other than a loss. Just hoping the journey back home isn't too long a drag with evening closures coming back north.
  13. RF99 my point being this. if Rovers had converted 3 out of the 5 chances v Sunderland we would have coasted to victory. Ditto with Hull, Plymouth, Ipswich and the result may have been different if Rovers had done better with their clear chances against Leicester. Regarding defensive issues, taking Pears out of the equation, Rovers rely too much on Carter alongside Hyam and should be rested putting Hill in for him. Carter has been exposed on too many occasions. Midfield is another area, where we lose the ball and almost immediately the opposition are on us, we are too exposed through the middle. This is a result of the way we pile forward. Something has to change and pretty quickly, this league is unforgiving.
  14. For me all Rovers need is a finisher. Wr have created chance after chance that goes begging. A half decent forward would have bagged 15 goals this season such is the multitude of chances.
  15. Love your confidence. Rangers offer Euro football, chance of cup glory and board that will sanction funds and support. Oh yes 50000 fans every home game in a stadium that rocks. Rovers offer nothing by comparison due to lethargy of a shocking CEO and even worse ownership.
  16. No I continued to back the team because that is the priority. Now I think it’s time to dust off the venkys out banners alongside Waggot out banners.
  17. No I was in my usual seat! I will be at Coventry on Wednesday supporting the team as usual
  18. I think JDT and his assistant will be off to Rangers, watch this space!
  19. There just isn’t any appetite for it! The fans are behind the team when they need it. At 3-1 down that was the right time to begin venting anger. It’s now 3 weeks until we play Cardiff at home so he is on easy street for the time being🤬
