  1. Waggot and con shoulder the blame for their ineffectiveness as owners and senior management. What an ability shit show on the pitch. No recognised striker is going to seriously cost us. We are looking down the barrel of being cemented in the bottom 6 until Xmas and then it’s too late. I would expect by then JDT will have left the sinking ship leaving us with a serious issue. Waggot needs to think outside box and be inventive to right this rudderless club. As for Pears for every good save he costs us 2 goals at least which isn’t good enough - should be hooked now!
  2. Communication needs to have a starting point - this is a factor STILL clearly not understood by SW and co - it’s non existent because of his blatant refusal to engage
  3. Still wondering just how the hell we managed to cock this game up with the amount of missed chances followed by the amount of loose passing and lack of basic footballing skills ! That football in the first 35 is the best football since Hughes had us flying in the top 6 it’s superb at times and the followed by utter frustration. dreading Ipswich away
  4. I wonder how many tickets we have actually sold for the game so far?
  5. I think its a match where we will struggle to cope with Sunderland coming forward, we have seen Hull and Boro forwards walk through defence at times without any challenges and the way sunderland set up is very similar, fast forwards with pace to burn. Rovers might struggle a bit and it could be a game where there are a few goals scored at either end. 2-2
  6. I think it’s more tax avoidance by means of fraudulent accounting than loopholes!
  7. We have different views, the one thing that matters is 3 points and a win. Should have been a landslide with Dolan and Gally guilty of 3 horrid missed whilst SS should have scored the hat trick he fully deserved. We move on to Wednesday and the return of a certain Mr Dack. Tidsy is another reversed result from last season. Again another positive
  8. It is well documented throughout football where footballers have been subjected to offers from clubs but that those offers were subsequently rejected by club officials resulting in players demanding moves, going on strike or generally sulking like babies. We have our own examples in the Savage affair with Brum many moons ago. So, if BB was so KEEN to get a move AND bids were received that HE believed were reasonable then it is REASONABLE to suggest that he MAY have taken such a line. Truth is he didn't take that line, he might have sulked a bit, but if he wanted to have moved then he could easily have forced it despite the view of the owners, players hold that power. What I have written is a suggestion NOT fact, and is opinion based.
  9. If he wanted to move he would have asked to move especially if he was aware of a suitable bid being made. So that says to me no suitable bid materialised from a club that allegedly showed interest in him. So it not as much bollocks as you make out. It’s reality as any financials are irrelevant be it a severance or loss of loyalty bonus versus potential increased wages and/or signing fee!
  10. It keeps being mentioned Rovers should have sold him however a point that is constantly missed is that he didn’t want to move nor was a suitable bid for him ever received ! At 18 months to go in a contract footballers have the ace cards not the clubs
  11. I thought GB was very open and honest about the situation, something that SW should aspire to if you ask me.
  12. They will be left with no choice - continue to fund or sell up
  13. The level of debt is theirs so does it matter how much it is? One things for certain, if the club is sold then venkys will take their debt with them
  14. I read it slightly differently - investment worldwide is good for all countries. The fact that property has been seized suggests a fraud investigation is in full swing. Setting up a business with paperwork suggesting a business of mining and then purchasing a dwelling through it is clearly a fraudulent deal with intention of not paying corporation tax and all that goes with it. I could be wrong but it does suggest massive wrongdoing on someone’s behalf
  15. I am pretty unsure as why he has been employed NOW! Furthermore I am unsure as to what he can bring to the game working from India. My question would be what can he improve and how can he improve it? If anything I see it perhaps weakening SW position and as GM alluded to replacing Cheston. I keep reading these tax laws and overseas investments - it’s faff all to do with anything else other than Venkys have committed financial crime(s) in India - I cannot see any regulations preventing overseas investments unless they are fraudulent transactional activity. This is what is being investigated !
  16. Tough game on Saturday - 1-1 for me Rovers will give Boro time and space and this time Boro won’t miss the chances they have been doing. Rovers can exploit them but that means scoring first . Let’s hope Gally is fit to lead the line as he gives DL nightmares
