  1. You always seek to appoint someone better than yourself !!! Once appointed a 'high flyer' and asked why I should give him the job - he said he'd put me on the golf course for 12 months whilst he sorted things out. Sounded good, gave him the job, feckin brilliant - now a FTSE 100 CEO.
  2. Chaddy - you either drinking or snorting, or both !!! Not a snowball's chance in hell !!!
  3. Thought it was a yearly roller. Rarely, in football circles, have I heard of anyone employed in a 'senior' position with a PL club on a monthly roller !! If so, absurd !!
  4. No one in their right mind would come here as Kean's No 2 without the 'comfort' of a 2 year deal.

  7. Lots of speculation about reasons for Jensen leaving. Just heard one school of thought that he was "about to pull the trigger on Kean". Seemingly, Kean frightened that the sh1t would hit the fan made his move. Apparently, has been brewing for days and decision made late Tuesday.
  8. Thoughts: I think Kean is a cunning b@st@ard and this is all about self preservation. Kean worked with Jensen from Jan. to end of season, then offered him a longer term deal. If Kean thought he was the man after a 5 month trial, what has suddenly gone wrong ? IMO, only answer coming through loud and clear is 'scapegoat'. Who on earth would come in from outside as Kean's No2 - I doubt anyone in football trusts the guy. I didn't rate JJ as a football man but I have far greater faith in his integrity and decency than Kean's. Yet another excuse lined-up for Saturday - injuries and not having staff in place. IMO, Kean is utter poison and the sooner he's out of our club the better.
