  1. You have posted several times Mowbray chased Maja for 12 months but couldn't sign him due to financial constraints - where in LT does it say that? It doesn't. Just Gav nonsense. You posted today "You had Ayala ‘Absconded’ before the Blackpool game". Definition of abscond - leave hurriedly and secretly, typically to escape from custody or avoid arrest. I NEVER used that word - you did. I merely posed the question would Ayala be there in response to a post from Tom about players not being present at Ewood and further went on to respond to J*B's post stating I thought all 1st team squad members should be present at home games in a sign of togetherness. No insinuation, no bullshit, just valid and rational observations. Not me who needs to stop digging my friend.
  2. Re Maja - you have gone on and on and on and on that Mowbray chased Maja for 12 months and he was unable to sign him as Bordeaux wanted a fee and Venky's wouldn't back Mowbray. The facts according to your 'font of all knowledge' source Sharpe seem to be: Rovers were set to sign him on a season long loan in August but he failed his medical "Tony Mowbray played down any links to the 24-year-old in this window (January)" "Bordeaux are willing to let Josh Maja leave this month – but would prefer a permanent deal" - however, he ended up at Stoke on loan so presumably we could have got him on loan should Mowbray wanted to!!! Where in this article does it say Mowbray would have been willing to pay a fee provided Venky's would have backed him? Furthermore, given Mowbray "played down the links" in the January window suggests Mowbray no longer wanted to sign him in January - indeed Mowbray came out and said he didn't want to sign a 'traditional' centre forward. You have constantly banged on about Mowbray chasing Maja for 12 months and being denied being able to sign him due to lack of funds. I think your assertion is shown to be nonsense. Re Ayala and Blackpool match. @Tom posted "Apparently JRC went home after not being on the bench, if true Tony has to stamp that sort of thing out" I responded to Tom posting "On match days at Ewood, every member of the first team squad including those outside the 18 named squad should be there watching and supporting. Be interesting if anyone can spot Ayala!?!?" @J*B posted "I’m not sure what the point you’re making is but Ayala was one of the first to arrive and has been on the pitch with the squad" I then posted in response tp J*B "Point I'm trying to make is it should be about togetherness. Without exception, every single member of the 1st team squad should be at Ewood on match day. Pleased Ayala is there". Does that say Ayala, to use your words had "absconded". No it doesn't. My initial post was in response to Tom's post and I made the point it would be interesting to see if Ayala was there given his prolonged absence. I would hardly say J*B 'called me out' as you said and I think my response to him is self explanatory. I think you are a sh1t stirrer Gav who needs to stop being selective, stop distorting what I post and concentrate on getting your facts and allegations right.
  3. Probably the same way you get away with your delusional nonsense about Mowbray's pursuit of Maja!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't even get your criticism correct - find me a post where I said Ayala 'Absconded' before the Blackpool match. Owing to decades in professional practice covering various sectors including leisure and sport I made and retained large numbers of contacts including people still involved in the game of professional football. One piece of advice - if what you think I post on here is bullshit then just stop feckin reading it but do not personally criticise me.
  4. Think you will find Johnson will take charge for Brum match.
  5. Understand there is a certain fixation with Hasselbaink. Wouldn't be my choice, however, if you have a spare fiver or tenner in your pocket then at 20/1 could be worth a punt.
  6. It's what I've been told.
  7. I think it would be a surprise if Mowbray is still in charge for the game at Brum - I expect him to have 'left the building' within days.
  8. We need a manager who can get us promoted and quickly. Full stop. Not bullsh1t or fanciful journeys for the naive and happy clappers.
  9. Chris, are you really serious about retaining Venus in ANY capacity?! IMO, the man brings feck all to the party.
  10. If Grayson or Venus get the gig I think you might as well get in touch with Aldi site acquisitions now.
  11. Not a snowball's chance in hell of that happening.
  12. IMO, God forbid. I couldn't think of anything worse. I think Venus, Lowe, Benson and possibly even Johnson (I question his credibility and motivation to have hung around such a bunch of deadbeats for so long) all need binning as soon as possible.
  13. Apologies, last night was a bit heavy and feeling a bit under the weather today!
  14. Not sure what that makes us then!!! We were once second ahead of Bournemouth and now they are 2nd with us trailing in at 9th.
  15. Found Mowbray's remarks in LT quite staqgering 'highly unlikely' he's quoted as saying. What a way to prepare for a key match tomorrow - if I was a player I'd be thinking 'this fecker's given up why the feck should I bother and put my body and possibly career on the line'.
  16. You start him then pull him off when we are winning a game and in control as opposed to chasing a game and expecting Dack to continually come to the rescue from the bench.
  17. Got a few connections to PNE with family, friends etc. Consensus is they will be up for it more than us and they are unusually confident about the outcome of this fixture. Think that tells you quite a bit about Rovers' dire form etc. I'll keep my powder dry until I see what team the Mowbray tombola generates! Think we might nick a draw and go unbeaten for the rest of the season but sadly it will be too little too late - Mowbray has a habit of finishing the season well when results mean nothing but no doubt it impresses that lot in Pune!
  18. I was also on that night. Particularly remember the 2nd half as we attacked the 'Town End' and if I recall we missed a couple of great chances including hitting the bar when I thought it was easier to score. We didn't score many but was amazed we couldn't notch one, and what would have been a 'golden goal', with Garner and Crawford up front and Burke (think he was a 1 goal in 5 man for us), Kendall and Speight all capable of weighing in from midfield. Know how you must have felt in the Red House but I met Burke on several occasions when his football career was over and he came across as a very decent lad.
  19. This is such a sh1t league anything could happen.
  20. It's all down to Mowbray. Who signs the players, selects the team, sets the tactics, motivates or otherwise the players. The buck stops with him. No one else is to blame. You would see a different response with a Neil Warnock type in charge.
  21. I think Lowe is a real oddball - seen more life in a dead sheep.
  22. Sorry for all the Rovers' fans there today, even the 'Happy Clappers'. Words simply fail me. Time for some medicine - given a bottle of Prunotto Barolo for Easter, let's see what it's like!
  23. I have! Backed Rovers to win in my main bet and got a tenner on Maja anytime scorer at 3/1 and a fiver on 3-1 scoreline at 21/1.
