In the scheme of things, for a football club with a staff cost bill of say £23million (as per last accounts) per year, IMO, it's chicken sh1t. Think your red flags need to be raised a lot, lot more!

A bit deeper than that. You are what you are and management style will depend upon what skills you have in your own locker, your personality, the level of experience you have and, importantly, the needs of your team / colleagues (part of which will include your kicking / cuddling!). The ethos / culture of your organisation will also play a part (though I'm buggered if I know what that is at Rovers!).

I think Wigan will win their appeal should it come to that. Administration came so quickly after the change in ownership (was it 26 days) and the club could not see it coming nor could the Football League for that matter . As far as I can see, there was no deliberate intention to try and play fast and loose with their creditors.

More than once, seen him put defenders on their arse in tight areas in the penalty area with the U23's this season. He frightens defenders and, IMO, the lad is a real talent who just needs managing the right way. I know I've banged on about Chapman before but I honestly believe he has something a bit special which is in short supply at Rovers.

and don't forget Marshall Burke who was a key part of our success under Howard Kendall which very nearly finished with promotion to Division 1 (now the PL). Mowbray talks about 'slow build and evolution' - feckin hell, Howard Kendall took us from Div 3 to Div 2 and then missed promotion to Div 1 the following season on goal difference. In two seasons, Kendall worked miracles with virtually nothing to spend. What he would have given for the then equivalent of some £20million (fees and wages), IMO, spunked up the wall by Mowbray on Brereton and Gallagher. Kendall v Mowbray - no comparison - IMO, a master v a third rater. Kendall had the lot - can do attitude, fitness, organisation, tactics, motivation, player trading management etc.

Don't think you can't rule ANYTHING out where Rovers are concerned. As I've said before, think Waggott and Mowbray already know the financial score. If it's as bad as it might be, that will necessitate £20million in fees and savings on wages.

It's a recipe for chaos. This season should be done and dusted on Wednesday night and any punishments dished out next season. some might not think fair but after coronavirus, football very quickly needs clarity and certainty.

IMO, the lad has real talent and Mowbray has failed to give him even a quarter chance - in fact, I think Mowbray's management of the lad has been shocking. Chapman needs a bit of TLC and a run in the team - been saying this on here for ages. I think he has more natural ability than most at Rovers.

The Cowleys did a fair job at Huddersfield. Huddersfield were in freefall with 1 point from 6 games when the Cowleys joined and have since taken 50 points from their 39 games in charge. Think they deserved another shot at it next season.

When you go to football matches anywhere, whether it be Brockhall, Ewood, Leyland etc, you look to see what's going on. You don't need to be Einstein to see which managers / coaches fizz and which fall into the mogadon category. Look at the drills, how innovative, how sparky, how do the players respond.

IMO, for similar reasons that Waggott keeps Mowbray in his role!!! Mowbray, Venus, Lowe and Benson, IMO, all need binning.

Yep. money on Luton for this one. A MUST WIN game for Luton who will be too hungry and have too much desire for us - a great result for them yesterday. Best thing Mowbray can do is pick a team with players with things to prove and who will bust a gut for us. Tear into them from first whistle and give it a feckin good go. Sadly, Mowbray being Mowbray, I doubt he will do this. I'd go with: Hilton or Fisher / Nyambe, Carter, Lenihan, Thompson / Chapman, Travis, Rothwell, Rankin-Costello / Brereton, Armstrong

Think Vardy is a far more intelligent and technically better footballer. Sees a picture, takes up great positions, time his runs and has a surprisingly very good first touch.

Has improved and needed to as, IMO, looked a League One player out of his depth. Huge step up to PL for an attacking player. Compare him to most of the PL attacking players and, IMO, he's still miles off the mark. IMO, not an intelligent footballer.
