  1. Past hour
  2. It actually is partly the officials fault on this occasion as we should have had a corner which was tactically the right thing to do when preserving a lead and they guessed and gave a goal kick. It was so late on the corner would have probably been the last action of the game.
  3. If you don't laugh you will cry. I'm sure lots of comments have been made about the subtitutions, it's nothing new it's been the same all year and years before. A competitive 11 but quality drops after that. The most frustrating thing for me in that last few mins was Millers pointless chip down the line. When you're looking for some experience, game management he just gives the ball away, no one hardly near him, they get the ball and score. At least boot the ball into touch down field if he didn't want it. I know Val has been drilling in the positives to the team but 2 games running, it's hard to see their heads not going down. Interesting to see how long this same 11 can keep the energy up for. 3 huge games coming up with no Sonny or potentially Alebiosu. Got a feeling this week could have been a bad omen for whats to come!
  4. Well he's not been allowed to play by the manager, so very little. Very difficult to do anything with 5-10 minute cameos.
  5. Same old same old and it'll be somebody else's fault. Rovers 1 Weds 1
  6. That leaves you far too exposed in midfield.
  7. True. I suspect that Gaye would do very well in League 1 and attract offers from Championship clubs the season after. That's if he doesn't go abroad of course.
  8. I hope you take that approach to your own life - you're obviously hugely successful.
  9. No one is saying this is going to be easy, or if they are they need a rethink
  10. VAR isn't the answer but actually getting better officiating, we didn't have these problems 20 years ago when Refs actually ref the games properly Yes a clear penalty, FFS Its yourself finding excuses to not given your own club the right correct decisions I would have gone that way cos of jack Clarke not cos of De Neve
  11. Can I ask what he has contributed this season?
  12. Gueye is the current scapegoat. He can't do anything right on this board.
  13. I think you meant to say Leif Davis isn’t getting back !
  14. well we have to disagree there cos Leif Davis isn't getting back for me and McKenna said post match he would have want a red if that his side decision
  15. They probably need VAR because you arent going to get a sudden improvement in referee quality. But we need to look closer to home at why we keep throwing away points. Its a club now built on excuses. Hard done by with the potential red card? Yes. (Although not having the Ohashi penalty shout or a corner/goal kick decision at the other end of the pitch) But I am more concerned and focused on our own problems and so should Ismael be. Ribeiro would have made more sense. De Neve is like a few of the Rudy signings absolutely woeful. If Ismael genuinely wanted some of these players then that is especially worrying.
  16. Poor decisions have happened at times i agree. However, it's not the officials fault that we can't defend properly in injury time. Also, the manager has cost us more points at Ewood this season than the officials.
  17. We are only as good as our opposition and tend to stoop to lower levels if the opposition is poor 2-1 Wednesday
  18. If we fail to win this one then even the most positive of fans (yep, that one) will have to admit that we’re in deep doo doo.
  19. When do you ever feel positive after a game? It is a clear red card and its a clear penalty. How about the refs actually manage the game properly and stop favouring the big teams. The refs allow Ipswich to waste time far too much with these fake injuries. how is bringing on Cantwell embarrassing? Yes the home record needs to be better but yesterday was our best home performance so far this season, can you not see that?
  20. We're just a soft target aren't we? Away fans love coming to Ewood Park, it's always rated as one of the best away days in the football league. Nothing to do with Blackburn being a lively place to visit, it's because most clubs know they can have as many tickets as they want, up to 7000, and that the home crowd is so deflated, sparse and spread out around the big empty stadium that it's effectively like a home game for the away team. I get to about half of our away games and supporting us away from home has been so much more enjoyable in the last few years, even though we probably pick up fewer points on average (this season excluded).
  21. 3 more points to the should have tally. Should be premier league this time next year.
  22. The loss of home fans is everything about Venkys and the way this club has been systematically downgraded and dismantled, both on and off the field. However, your absolutely right, the home record and season upon season of conceding late, late goals and never coming from behind to win matches is another major factor for the sparse crowds and funereal atmosphere at Ewood.
  23. Yes just ignored the fact Ipswich should have been down 10 men and a clear penalty on Ohashi. But no surprise to me you do
  24. I think the Ipswich player who scored deserves some credit for dropping his shoulder and coming inside. In my opinion it didn't matter who was close to him, the same thing would have happened.
