  1. Past hour
  2. Absolutely mental, and all extremely worrying to be honest. For us older fans who had the joys of Williamson, to this in 15 years, it's a disgrace how things are being run. We was one of the best run town teams around. (Without doubt) RG sounds like a right @ss. Pardon my French!. RG who refused to play for Rovers, then struts around belittling players and staff. It will all come out eventually. Whats happening about CEO?
  3. Quick 1 min AI research - always take the results with a pinch of salt but many of those would fall into the same group; Premier League * Sam Hayball (Arsenal) - Previously a video and match analyst for Arsenal. * Josh Marsh (Chelsea) - Formerly held scouting and managing director roles. * Gary Probert (Liverpool) - Was Director of Football Operations at Ipswich Town. * Jonny Evans (Manchester United) - Recently retired player for the club. * Carlton Cole (West Ham) - Former striker, has worked with the academy. * Will Antwi (Tottenham Hotspur) - Ex-professional player, coached England's U15 team. * Paul Furlong (Queens Park Rangers) - Former QPR player, coached previously for QPR I agree to an extent, the most ambitious clubs arenโ€™t hiring a novice for this role, which is a modern requisite - especially teams with large investment in youth. I think Chelsea had 30+ players on loan a few seasons. However I agree more with parsonblue - this is a sensible, whilst likely cheap, appointment of someone who could be an asset for that role. Also, as this took till after the window closed to sort out, that again shows what weโ€™re up against with the current main CEO.
  4. And repeated none stop by brainless fucking idiots. Beyond infuriating.
  5. I have nothing against Rhodes, he makes my post-Venky X1 every day of the week, one of my favourites. But which of those things qualifies him for a role managing the development of academy/reserve players (requires coaching experience) and their loan moves (requires experience dealing with other clubs, agents, and scouting)?
  6. Genuine guy, connection to the club, worked his way through the leagues, has family (and hopefully the connections that come with) in the game. I canโ€™t see it as a problem really. Better than a black hole.
  7. I understand the former player thing, but I donโ€™t understand why Rhodes. I donโ€™t feel like he has ever come across as an authority of any sort. I saw him perhaps as a coach or scout first. Iโ€™d have thought a Loan Manager would at least have experience of scouting or coaching (maybe he does tbf).
  8. Today
  9. Sounds like a role for another former player. Whatโ€™s MGP up to?
  10. Yes let's do it. Just don't turn up fuck them all.
  11. The training wheels CEO using Chat GPT to bulk respond (lie) to fans on LinkedIn is peak clown Rovers.
  12. That seems a sensible appointment. Many clubs use ex-players in that position. I think Lescott does it at City. A number of former players have taken up roles at Ewood when their playing days have ended and its usually worked out well.
  13. Says 24th June, hadn't even returned for preseason training then had they? Would have already happened surely.
  14. Amazing!! Our captain!! Should be anyway- where are these quotes from, post transfer window discussions?
  15. Yes. I like it but I hope heโ€™s not forced out because of it, but doesn't he want to leave and go back to his home country?
  16. Good man sondre exactly what Iv been asking for - as a player confirming all isnโ€™t as it seems but doesnโ€™t go into detail but gives enough to fans respect
  17. Good!!! Time for the brave to put their heads above the parapet.
  18. These quotes real? Wonโ€™t go down well!
  19. Ah so it wasn't to save 30 minutes on his commute then? Almost as though that was another lie made up by the regime and their defenders.
  20. Clean out your locker Sondre. You've broken the rules and spoken out. Off to Derby you pop son.
  21. Only thing Rhodes should be doing here is working day and night with Gueye.
  22. He was excellent in that season under JDT. Deservedly won player of the season.
  23. My own personal nickname for him at times was Cryam, and thatโ€™s probably harsh but he certainly would point fingers at others and through is toys out the pram at times. Telling the crowd to calm down also an unforgivable thing to do. His form in the run up to the 7th finish under JDT was typical of this. That said, whilst I think they may have overpaid - Wrexham are getting an established championship player with a good injury record. We are relying on two who arenโ€™t that yet, and itโ€™s a gamble I would never have taken.
