  1. Past hour
  2. Hyam looking fit and ready to play to squash the conspiracy theory that he was injured.
  3. The last 3 seasons. The team finishing 4th from bottom in the Championship has attained at least 49 points And most seasons, you don't have Birmingham & Wrexham coming up and throwing millions at it
  4. Id like to see big Premier club managers do any better under the circumstances, there big because they've huge checkbooks.
  5. i would`nt believe anything that pops up on social media or indeed anything that comes out of the club officially, they could`nt lie straight tbh
  6. BRFCPivy is 100% a club person. Has probably been told to say that.
  7. O brien equaliser. Running game. If only we hadn't deliberately sabotaged the deal.
  8. Thankfully for your neighbours it’s more likely Jackson has misused the term β€˜board’ 😁
  9. I'd have a better idea if I had peps billion pound checkbook.
  10. You'd have thought it would be the other way round and we wouldn't want to select him until his situation is resolved.
  11. We have to subtract some points for the central midfield options at the time of of Lowe, Evans, Guthrie & Akpan though Id prefer Tronstad playing on his own vs all 4 of those πŸ˜‰
  12. According to the enigmatic BRFCPrivy Travis is refusing to play. Could be true, could be false, or it could be the club trying to put the blame on Travis
  13. This is purely hypothetical on my part. Durus current contract runs out at the end of the season (although he does have a year option). Given that Duru has declared his national allegiance to the USA, & that Rovers have issues with extending contracts at the best of times, is it possible that Duru has made it clear that he does not want to sign a contract extension and prefers a move to the USA to keep himself in view for the National team? Which would possibly explain a reluctance to use Duru at right back for the first team, and laos Durus possible next move away on loan?
  14. I'm getting the same feeling I got when we had Wes and Chris Brown, Nathan Delfonso and so on. There's no talent at all, and the squad is washed out.
  15. Meanwhile, Nyambe, Sanderson, Batth, etc, having a rough time vs Coventry. Not sure I wouldn’t prefer at least two of the three in our starting 11 today. Definitely Weimann on the bench
  16. Bonkers that we'll be massively outshone/outdone here by a club who are the same age as us and would sell their own grandmothers for a hint of the success we've had across three centuries. 10 major honours to their 1. They've basically got nowt to shout about, but they'll still do it better than the donkeys running our club. Our marquee friendly was against Everton, a club we have no connection with other than the short distance and an away game that fans were banned from attending. We then got a 150th anniversary kit that had halves done incorrectly, the one thing fans asked them to do. We're probably gonna get a voicenote from Alan Shearer and an AI deep fake of the Venkys singing No Nay Never on the club's social media or something. I'm really not looking forward to that Derby game, I think it's going to be a sour, dark day in the history of the club when it should have been brilliant.
  17. I agree, I liked the look of him - hadn't seen as much from him defensively, but I'm positive he'd be a better option than KM at right back.
  18. Windass just pulled his hamstring as well. I can't see Parkinson seeing the season out with Wrexham. He's a top end of league one manager at best.
  19. To be fair Duru was at Barrow then injured after Ismael came in February. I think he was still doing some rehab for the early part of pre season. In my opinion Duru is an infinitely better right back than Montgomery.
  20. Sounds like the sort of thing Jason Lowe would have been praised for back in the day.
  21. Was gonna go to todays game but person I was going with has ended up unexpectedly child free so we've opted to go see Supergrass in Halifax instead. Hope the boys get something out of todays game, Birmingham are gonna be towards top of table this season.
  22. At the kit launch thing recently, VI made a point of saying that Montgomery had impressed in training with his attitude and abiity to take on board his tactical instructions. By that same token, you'd assume that Duru has done neither of those things? Which is a shame, as he's looked promising in the glimpses we've seen him.
  23. west brom one up on the welsh upstarts, terrible defending by the wannabe *****!!!!
  24. I'm hoping Newell, Clayton and Douglas get minutes today
  25. I don't think we'll definitely go down, I think we'll be in the mix for a fair amount of the season though, looking over our shoulders nervously most of the year. Edit - when we last went down, the league was extremely competitive and we went down with a very high points total. Our side right now as I mentioned previously is probably not better than the one that went down but I think the high watermark will be way lower than 50 points so we'll be ok.
