  1. Past hour
  2. Our passing is diabolical. We can’t keep the ball to save our lives. There was a simple 15 yard pass to DeNeeve and we wallop it 40yards into touch. Nobody is playing well - 3/10 the lot of them. The shape of things to come I’m afraid.
  3. it`s only a friendly game, how is he supposed to get match fit??
  4. De Neve, Tyjon (due to his age), and Hedges should all be back up players. Depressing state of affairs.
  5. Any of their players would easily get into our first 11
  6. Assume he's just not fully fit yet and they daren't risk him with Brittain leaving and Miller being injured.
  7. Maybe not a bad thing if we get thrashed today. Puts more pressure and spotlight on a very poor transfer window to date and makes it undeniable that we are desperate for more players - and not just a couple of cheap squad players who can fill multiple positions, which is essentially what we've bought so far.
  8. I've been saying it for weeks, we desperately need strengthening in attack.
  9. On the new season prediction thread half the posts have got us finishing in or just outside the top six. I cannot see it myself, I think this season is going to be pretty grim fare. I don't think we will go down but I think we will be spending most of the season looking over our shoulder. That prediction is before it's confirmed that Brittain has left and hopefully neither Travis or Tronstad leave or we will be in massive trouble.
  10. Poor half that. Really unimpressed with a lot of it. Some good pressing aside, I think we've been poor and our attack is borderline non-existent.
  11. Ohashi fluffing two gilt edged chances and Montgomery being roasted for both their goals the difference between the sides today. How anyone can watch Hedges continually lose the ball and duck out of challenges and not think he needs replacing is beyond me.
  12. Should never read too much into pre-season…but that said, a lot of concerns expressed on here in recent weeks are being vindicated.
  13. maybe this a game that nobody wanted, hence the tepid performance
  14. You won't like to see or hear it but a pounding today will be a good wake up call to those clever arseholes who think they can fill the team up with cheap punts and kids.
  15. Fuming at how shit the exciting transfer window has turned out to be. This team gets relegated, especially with these tactics.
  16. That was really poor from Yuki he did well to knick the ball but then just didn’t get a shot away and ran it out for a throw in
  17. 2 or 3 times now Ohashi has won it in a very dangerous position only to be unable to break away. His lack of pace is glaring. The last one, he wins it at the D and ends up dribbling out near the corner flag. He’s been extraordinarily poor
  18. This is really dire, the second goal was just pathetic, far too easy ! I like Yuki, he works hard and like last year will get a few goals but never going to be a real threat, far too slow and just doesn’t have the strength or game to play as a loan striker. Ismael got a massive task on his hand, no doubt with hands tied behind his back by Pasha and Pune.
  19. Nope. Just pointing out that he shouldn't be playing right back. It's not his position - that's not his fault.
  20. Ismael booked for losing his rag in a friendly, we're in for a long season I reckon 😄
  21. Deary me. This lot look a level above ours 2-0 and hit the post. Rovers look absolute dross. Chasing shadows.
  22. Scores don’t matter in pre-season, but looking abject does. We’ve a weak team if two absent starters drop us this far below the standard. Pasha no doubt chuckling his way to a second Aston Martin as a thank you bonus for saving the Raos more money, the scoundrel.
