  1. Past hour
  2. Another injury Another dropped catch
  3. We have to take risks with our signings because we have zero money. We are always going to have a lengthy injury list. Its no accident!
  4. Im quite happy to judge it at the end of the season. I wasn't the one who brought Eustace up or bizarrely started slagging him off when he has them above us in the League.
  5. They are 6 points ahead of us and we have a game In hand. They have had injuries but not to the extent we have we also led in two games that were abandoned. Iv said before they most likely will but you are talking like it's a done deal and they have been way better than us so far this season which isn't the case
  6. Was the Clifford one the one on Baradji at Preston? Not that it matters but whilst they were both the most obvious reds you'll ever see I thought the one today was a petulant swipe whereas the one on Baradji was a real career ender potentially.
  7. This guy is in Swedish Allsvenskan as well but way better. Plays as a winger for Hammarby but likes to cut inside using his preferred left foot. 50% successful dribbles leaves him in the top percentile among first division players in Europe. Would fit in if we were to play a 3-4-2-1 formation with him as one of the two attacking midfielders. Kind of what Mbuemo has been doing for United. Currently valued around €3-4 million according to Transfermarkt and Fotmob.
  8. It would appear some fan’s standards have dropped as quickly as the club’s have.
  9. That Hackney tackle was a bigger red than Clifford. Abominable officiating.
  10. I never mentioned Eustace at all originally, you were the one who brought him up. To be accurate I actually stated with some certainty that Derby would finish above us this season and you stated with equal certainty the opposite. Look Im sorry for you that 10 months after he left, you're still so bitter that a former manager who actually did really well for us looks set to have Derby finishing 10-12 points ahead of us over the course of the full season this time round but it's no more his fault now than it was when he left. Your ire should be directed solely at the owners and their henchmen. Not Eustace.
  11. Given that our record over the the last 4 seasons with or without either player is: 2022/23 (Travis/No Tronstad) 7th 2023/24 (Tronstad/Mainly no Travis) Stayed up on last day of season 2024/25 (Tronstad and Travis) 7th 2025/26 (Tronstad/No Travis) Sat 4 points outside the relationship zone after half a season I've really no idea! Perhaps not even very good Head Coaches can get everything right? He obviously didnt rate him highly enough to take him with him to Derby though.
  12. Yesterday
  13. I prefer to say what I think we need rather than what I think may happen. Pickering is well down the list of players I would be keen to move on. Lyndon Dykes? Ideal?
  14. All three Wilson brothers are dead, with Carl and Dennis having been dead for decades. When Brian had his breakdown Carl took over as the leader of the group. Without the Wilson brothers involved it's not the Beach Boys.
  15. Lol. Ohashi and Andy Cole. As likeable as the former is that's the last time you'll ever see those two mentioned in the same sentence!
  16. I’m not sure I’ve seen that one but I maintain if kicking out like that isn’t covered then they may as well not have this option for retrospective action.
  17. It was bad but not nearly as bad as the one on Baradji at Preston and they never took any retrospective action there.
  18. Litherland clearly isn't a RWB - he's providing the same contribution at RWB that Miller or Carter could. We need an actually attacking force there to backup Alebiosu. If we were pushing on as a club I'd target a backup RWB, a starting LWB and a starting CF in January - shipping out Pickering, Ribeiro and Gueye and committing to this 3 at the back system. We're obviously content to tread water so that won't happen.
  19. I imagine Henriksson would warn him off. "Yeah, mate I was ripping up the Swedish leagues and now can't get off the bench. When I do play I play out of position".
  20. Unfortunately he's got a bit of Andy Cole about him - needs 3 good chances to score. Alas we don't tend to create 3 good chances a game like Utd used to do.
  21. It's quite amusing watching some of the regulars criticising the referees (not calling you out in particular). I've been calling them out for years - the standard of officiating is atrocious.
  22. Or, y'know, do anything of note in 90 minutes.
  23. First ever 20-20 Test match?
  24. Most classy defender I've ever seen.
  25. You know what I loved about that game today? Seeing 'big', 'scary' Middlesbrough dumbfounded and being unable to cope with Blackburn Rovers. They had no idea what to do. Even during the worst of times, we've always had your lot's number, Honeyman. Let that sink in. That is the kind of thing we did regularly to teams in the Premier League before the clown show arrived. We will be back when said clown show disappears. A superb performance today where we made Boro look very ordinary. The fact they are currently in 2nd place shows what a huge opportunity we have missed this season and all due to people with no footballing knowledge deciding they want to 'transition' and cut costs. Go and f#*k off and transition somewhere else. Professional football certainly isn't for you. Never mind the play offs, automatic promotion was there for the taking this year. A smidgeon of ambition from that shower would have seen us right in the mix. They aren't winners in any way though. Those who defend these people and use the 70s and 80s as some sort of cover for their own egos are exactly the same. Just imagine where our club would be under normal owners and a normal Board. I was impressed with how we hassled and harried Boro for the majority of that game and with how dangerous we looked on the break. That was more akin to a Premier League showing from us. We just lacked that bite needed in the final third. There were so many counter attacks where we took too long to play the final ball. Despite that, it was fantastic seeing Boro being swamped and they could have had no complaints had we come away with the win. I don't think they'll see a better away performance at the Riverside all season. Big performances from Tronstad, Miller and Pratt in particular today. Baradji is a tank and there's hopefully a lot more to come from him. I think we are a lot better than the League table suggests and I expect things to pick up soon. Just like Ismael keeps saying. He and the team are giving it everything in difficult circumstances. Fair play to the young lads who are stepping in admirably and doing a decent job. Pasha out. Venky's out.
