  1. Past hour
  2. Football League world have him going to us or Hull Hull it is then
  3. Some good (ish) news, he will miss less games if called up
  4. Hahahaaha bored Ian? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  5. Thanks for clarifying - no need to apologise as I actually misinterpreted your words.
  6. We've conceded 6 in added on time, due to bad tactics from the manager.
  7. Apologies for the lack of clarity, yes I meant bringing de neve on for hedges rather Ribero, I know hedges was injured. Another one to add to our casualty ward.
  8. I agree, and our strikers failing to kill games off, 2-0 3-0 etc.
  9. There’s pretty much no difference. It’s the same. I don’t understand how it’s not a red. You can tell he panicked when he gave the yellow yesterday. What a gimp.
  10. Same referee. Spot the difference.
  11. Yes, I understood that as being due to the distance from goal Davies has chance to cover, also the trajectory of Davies straight line run probably influenced his decision. As I've said, I think it's a howler though I can see how the ref has made his decision regardless of my own personal feelings on whether it was or wasn't.
  12. I doth my cap to your superior knowledge.
  13. If the boot was on the other foot I would accept the red card without question. Pretty much every decision can be subjective but in the balance of probability the incident ticked every box in my opinion.
  14. Seen a loose link to Ryan Hardie on X by some journalist.
  15. Unless the attacking player is bearing down on goal in the middle of the pitch and gets hacked down just outside the penalty area without a defender in sight the "criteria" aren't black and white and are open to a degree of subjectivity. In a situation like last night Id expect a red maybe about 60% of the time but I can certainly see why one wasn't given. If the boot was on the other foot I'd be hoping the ref thought it was too far out and thinking we were slightly unlucky to receive a red.
  16. I can see why a data driven approach would show De Neve, Tavares and Henriksson as potentially good signings. They all (currently) fail the eye test though.
  17. The likelihood of him controlling the ball was high, having not touched the ball is a red herring. A couple of yards ahead is enough for me for him to run clear. He was running quickly and the Ipswich player would have struggled to legally get a challenge in. 30 yards out is close enough given the circumstances ie in front of the Ipswich player. It wasn't too dissimilar to the incident when Greaves was sent off in the abandoned game and I can't recall too much debate about that. Edit: Given my background I really like to back referees where possible but in my view that was unsupportable. I'm hearing today that the senior figures in the PGMO think so too.
  18. For balance, like Arbitro, I didn’t think the Yuki incident was a penalty. From my seat, I thought it was a foul but outside the box.
  19. I think it's called fairness. The ref was awful, whatever anyone thinks of Ismael...
  20. What the f is he doing maybe he should spend some time making notes on HOW TO MANAGE A GAME just watch Chelsea vs Arsenal and see how Chelsea slowed down the game and sucked Arsenal into fouls, come on Ismael
  21. In the JWL, bang in line with it. No doubt in anyone’s mind with that view point that it was a clear red card.
  22. Fair enough, just goes to show how where we are in the ground means we sometimes see things very differently. For example, from where I was last night, I couldn't see that the foul on Ohashi was in the box, so wasn't that upset during the game as I wasn't aware until Valerian ranted about it at FT.
  23. I think they have sold their ticket allocation and are asking for more. A full Darwen End rarely works in our favour.
