  1. Past hour
  2. More attendance shockers from the mid 1980s
  3. It's the anti fraud and money laundering unit they don't want money going anywhere but to pay for essential running costs of the English business i would have thought that was obvious by now.
  4. Maybe the court would approve money being sent over for transfers but Venkys would need to ask to find out.
  5. Does it not? They're doing that because of impropriety in the accounts for when they sent money here to buy Neville's house. They've no particular reason to stop us doing transfer business.
  6. Today
  7. They rarely ever seem to send extra money for transfer that usually has to be generated by the club itself and of course there has been plenty recently but.... Couldn't see the authorities over there ever signing it off anyway 'we have x amount billed for tax, x amount for utility bills, x amount for insurance, oh and we need to give 500k to Peterbro for a deposit on a player...' Doesn't really fit why they are restricting it and asking for receipts in the fist place.
  8. Club requested £4.85 million so… Venkys send club £3.2 million and pay a £1.6 million bond. £1.6 million for the club to find, who wants to bet against that ending up being the fee agreed for Travis…
  9. We're broke and Venky's can't/won't send any money, so we need to sell anyone we can and cut costs just to keep the lights on.
  10. The sum requested is worded as to ‘fulfill its statutory and contractual obligations’ I don’t see how this can include money for potential transfers. Edited to add… The court doesn’t issue the NoC but orders the authorities to do so (subject to Venkys meeting the conditions this and previous court orders have set). However… Venkys got an NoC issued in March ‘24 without the need to go to court - presumably because they just stumped up the guarantee ‘no questions asked’ that time.
  11. Owners say we'll send half due to bond so you'll have to find the other half.... someone phones Wrexham... 🤔
  12. For the hard of thinking such as myself. What does it mean?
  13. From, what I have seen in the past, about this, I think the request needs to be made in such a way that everything needs itemising and therefore proof of exactly what the funds are for. In turn, they are then presented to the court and a NOC is given and a bond for the same amount needs to be paid. I believe this bond is now 50%. Given the amount requested, you have to assume that is for the day to day running of the club and not transfers, but does anyone know if that is the case and if what I have posted is accurate?
  14. Wow, that’s some statement. Thankfully, it’s incorrect. Have another go.
  15. Rovers requested the money 26th March Venkys filed an appeal with the court 22nd April Hearing confirms funds can be sent 26th May Venkys send Rovers the money ??????
  16. I presume they just took over the remainder of his existing wages but didn't want to commit until he'd proven himself.
  17. Ye part of the original set-up and then came back 8 years ago but under the radar.. Just trying to get chaddy to look deeper 😉
  18. Mostly agree, but it isn't unheard of at all. However it's pretty close to it for players of his age, who were on a longer deal at their existing club. It was a very odd deal. I can only think we weren't willing to pay a wage he wanted unless he proved himself, and he took the gamble for a chance to put himself in the Championship shop window. But I also suspect we must have bought out his existing contract, in which case why not just give him a longer deal here with that money and gain security. Very strange.
  19. Confirmed in the venkys court thread, documents are in there.
  20. Yes I do, that is one of the problems. 90% of sod-all, is sod-all.
  21. I do agree, but the odd person on here, can usually confirm, for definite.
  22. To me, it's as plain as day what's going on. No contract renewals; no new signings; rumours of outgoings....can only mean one thing IMO.
  23. Spot on. 100% of nothing = nothing. Job done. Exceeded our only promise (10% earlier). Good window.
  24. We've already completed 100% of our transfer business and so Ismael has his wish
  25. Do we know if they deposited the 50% in the bond to allow this to e released and then sent the amount to VLL to pay the liabilities? If they haven't, this could be the reason the Travis for sale rumours have started. if it was requested nearly 2 months ago, if it hasn't been sent, there could be major issues.
