  1. Past hour
  2. He literally said yesterday rovers were interest in Browne and Val said we aren’t not sure what more proof is required there
  3. No I dont think that, stop being patronising. But it doesnt mean that all of his stories are accurate. Take Browne. Ismael was unaware of any interest whatsoever. Take Smit. The Go Ahead Eagles journalist said the club had heard of no interest. Take Afolayan. And probably Gassama. We clearly were waiting on Morishita all summer.
  4. My Glasgie mate just messaged me, said exactly the same, I replied that it's a good reset for the Teddy's. Hoops win the league again. Martin gone by Christmas.
  5. did he ever say we would sign any them? yet again people like you misread his stories and confused/misunderstand our interest in a player that we will deffo sign them. That your problem as always RF99
  6. From my limited interactions I’d say Gestede conducts himself professionally and shows basic manners, which is a step up. However, people whose word I trust tell a very different story when it comes to their interactions. I’m a lot less interested in what he has to say than Suhail as I’m a lot more concerned about what’s going on off the pitch (Suhail’s remit) than on the pitch (Gestede’s remit), and any on pitch problems are likely to have a root cause of Suhail anyway. That said, much of what he has come out and said publicly isn’t great. He appears happy to dumb down under his mates instructions. The clubs stance against Travis supposedly refusing to play seems highly hypocritical on his part.
  7. Would you like to buy some magic beans?
  8. We have wage budget and you have to stay within that Just like every football club and business as told. I don't think Ismael does he is told but he is actually aligned with Gestede and Owen in trying to build a squad in what he actually wants like centre midfielder like Baradji who can box to box and score goals. I think your opinion that Ismael is yes man is total bollocks. The cub have backed Ismael with 8 signings and spending money more than the original transfer budget(which was £5m according to Fans Forum meetings)
  9. Hes also got a lot wrong this window. Including Alan Browne, Armstrong, Smit, Afolayan, Gassama and Pye.
  10. So not even an attempt at an explanation forthcoming about how we ended up with various sets of minutes coming out of the last meeting or how the sanitised/edited/enhanced version was apparently agreed with the Club? Brush it under the carpet and hope it's forgotten? Back to tea and biscuits and the Club saying "We'll look into it" to everything?
  11. What are you going on about now? he has had stories spot on about Rovers like Gudjohnsen coming here ??? Let's see how the next 25 hours 9 mins pans out Rovers wise and football wise Its deadline day/48 hours before the window closes, anything can happened as we witness in football.
  12. Irony being most in Ewood would aim their anger at Eustace, Travis and co. Rather than those sat just above Jack Walkers old seat.
  13. I never met him so I can't comment. You have met a few times and you are much better to comment on this. Have you met Gestede at these FF meetings and what is he like?
  14. Didn’t he also sign Brittain, Szmodics and Tronstad? (albeit you hate the latter) - granted he signed some tosh as well but at least a few hits
  15. As I said previously I think Rovers senior management lost faith in JDT and GB during that January Transfer window down to results and falling out with players aswell. I think Waggott line Eustace up a couple of weeks before JDT post QPR rant. After that JDT was set to go and after that we witness GB role go less and less. Just my opinion. We don't know what Gestede is like to work with but him, Owen and Ismael seem to be happy working together
  16. Probably would be more use to the squad than Wharton (eyes behind my fingers very time) or sick note Carter. But this is the whole point of loans to lower leagues - get the experience then make the step up (but he’ll probably leave on a free or knock down price instead with our lot)
  17. Key 2 words here are cheap relating to wages of signings and willing in relation to the manager doing and taking as he is told.
  18. Sheaf to Wrexham £6.5 million
  19. It's far from abnormal for managers to sign former players they like and trust, maybe the numbers are a bit unusual. The connection to Nyambe and Brereton is entirely coincidental as they never played under Eustace. After that you've got four players who were only here for either one season or half a season and then Travis who is the only one I can understand people being annoyed at Derby for but again that's basically our fault for not putting a realistic deal in front of him at any point.
  20. They have done some good business like Morris and BBD signings and I've never said otherwise, tho it has surprised how many players he had here, he has signed like Batth, Weimann and Beck there. Its no surprise Travis has gone there and people were saying that when he went there Eustace favours the domestic transfer market and that is his style. Nothing wrong with that but Rovers want to look overseas for similar type of quality but cheap transfer fees and wages. That why people like Adam Owen, Michael Cairney and Piotr Sadowski were brought in to exploit these overseas market. That's why its suits Rovers having a head coach who from an European background or willing to endorse that market.
  21. And plenty of people who actually care about Blackburn Rovers, pretty much all who have met him in fact, have said he’s the exact opposite.
  22. Bristol City at home. Gueye has done it in one match and looked like a raffle ticket winner outside of that. Whereas Yuki has found the net a few times for us (which considering the dross behind him is pretty compelling)
  23. Nixon doesn't sound confident that we will be signing anymore players?
  24. He probably sought assurances on contracts for himself and the key players and instead was told about the "plan" for this summer. Do you blame him for leaving under those circumstances?
