As an Ireland fan I can tell you I was a lot more entertained in the Quarter Finals of a World Cup playing long ball, then getting batterd by Armenia while watching a clown fiasco where successful passes were more by luck than design. Given it was the last match it certainly wasn't a dead rubber. There was plenty at stake as Fulham could have been promoted and Derby relegated.
