  1. Past hour
  2. The decision may have done many things but it certainly hasn’t upheld the integrity of the competition. By agreeing to develop new guidance they’ve as good as a admitted the current position is unacceptable.
  3. It was always the default decision and anything else was a very unlikely outcome
  4. Sky are reporting that the three Championship club representatives on the EFL board abstained from voting which was absolutely the right thing do. Parry and Birch will more than likely led on this one.
  5. The mention of an appeal from Rovers tells me this isn't over yet.
  6. If we're losing with ten mins left, get the sprinklers on and waterlog the pitch.
  7. Pasha will now be checking whether an appeal involves an admin fee.
  8. No where yet, Nixon has said so, so it must be true 😉
  9. Obviously. If the rules were there there'd have been no need for nearly a weeks pontificating for nothing.
  10. The club needs to make admission free for home fans and fill the ground giving Ipswich the upper tier of the Darwen End
  11. Well it is what it is, the good news is it’s a level playing field and we can just go and beat them as we were on track to do.
  12. If ut was about being fair there is only one way that makes it fair and that is to complete the match from where it ended and with the same line ups score cards everything. As we thought full replay which we will duly surrender. Hope we can get it played quick and not have to wait too long to put this to bed.
  13. I have never seen an abandoned game on Ewood until last Saturday, I can go back long before Simon Jordan.
  14. Has there been anymore on Carter’s injury, other than Ipswich pre-match he sustained “a knock”?
  15. I would take a copy of that pdf. How sure are you it's genuine?

I really would not be surprised if Clinton was on it, I had a lot of time for his politics but the man was an out and out horn dog and I strongly suspect age was just a number for him.

  16. All the boring hipster rubbish just turns me off football. New edgy names for existing things like 'low block', 'double pivot', a '6' or an '8'. Shite.
  17. As an Ireland fan I can tell you I was a lot more entertained in the Quarter Finals of a World Cup playing long ball, then getting batterd by Armenia while watching a clown fiasco where successful passes were more by luck than design. Play the style that wins you points, winning is the entertaining bit!
  18. Today
  19. Great stuff, really appreciate this. I knew I remembered something about us being the first live non-final game. Thanks pal 👍
  20. Your mention of that game out me in mind of another game which finished early due to a pitch invasion. https://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2013/september/19/throwback-thursday Fulham appealed but the FA (not the Football League) threw it out. Given it was the last match it certainly wasn't a dead rubber. There was plenty at stake as Fulham could have been promoted and Derby relegated. Slightly different circumstances here but the remaining 11 minutes of this match were played behind closed doors. https://www.theoldhamtimes.co.uk/sport/20089516.efl-issue-statement-oldham-athletic-v-salford-city/
  21. Or perhaps when George Courtney cut the match short because Palace fans were on the pitch side on the fateful day in May 1989. Replay in full and Rovers going up.
