Yeah, that was my initial reaction. Either that or someone even more bizarre from another poor league.

I don't disagree with any of that tbh. A back 3 suits our centre backs better and it gets the best out of Alebiosu, Ohashi and Gudjohnsen. We don't have a LWB at all now and we lack any decent centre midfielders (save for Sonny), who get pulled all over the shop. As we play 2 upfront and another pushed forward in behind it leaves huge spaces to be exploited by the opposition. The lack of pace throughout, leaves us incredibly susceptible to counter attacks, when the wing backs and one of the back 3 are pushed high up the pitch. I'd much rather play Picks or Ribeiro at LB, as opposed to Cashin but he won't get dropped after the Watford game. I don't think the squad is completely suited to either formation tbh but that's Venkys bargain bin summer window coming to the fore. I also don't think Ismael is a good enough manager to get a back 3 system to work over the longer term.
