  1. Past hour
  2. Well clearly not otherwise he would have had a club in the last 12. Injuries stopped Wickham being a quality striker.
  3. Surely we can replace Gueye with a traffic cone?
  4. And? He's more ability in his penis than Mr Offside
  5. Canned Heat - Going Up The Country
  6. I would be getting Lewis Hall in this squad for the next matches. Quality How is Tomori playing for AC Milan? I would play Ben White next to Guehi at centre back
  7. One of yes but we seen good signs from Alebiosu so far. His best game was Hull away Disagree there. One of Ismael's main priorities signings type and player wise. If we sign a free agent centre back we have enough to January but signing a new centre back is number 1 priority come January window
  8. We are discussing Rovers and football issues/subjects. I dont see the problem
  9. Genuinely, can you two just get your own thread? Or just start DMing each other. Either or.
  10. Of course we will miss Brittain, he is the best right back in the league. Tavares has had shockers in both of the home games. Looked decent against the mighty Bradford though. Baradji has the feel of someone whose whereabouts will be still unknown come December. We didnt manage to get that pace in attack that we were so desperate for. Although considering that we have stripped the squad of experience, have nowhere near enough defensive cover and still big question marks over goals, it seems not as big of a deal.
  11. i know it was only Andorra he was up against but it looks like Anderson might have jumped ahead of Wharton in the search for a holding midfielder that spreads the ball around
  12. Alebiosu looked good so far, don't think we will miss Brittain too much but still miss him. McLoughlin has been solid signings. Looking forward to seeing Baradji play and we need an update were we are at injury wise. Tho he is someone Ismael wanted all summer. Same with Morishita.. Gudjohnsen is another one, I know not much about. Tavares looked good in a couple of games and poor last week. But it's a huge leap of gamble by Rovers but we still have plenty of championship experience around plus coaching staff who know this league very well. They will be plenty of ups and downs this season.
  13. Minutes should be out once amended and butchered. So around christmas 2026.
  14. I think everybody would take a mid table finish now. Lost our best whole back 4 (admittedly the left back was on loan), our captain, an important goalscorer within the squad and our most productive attacking player. Too much of a churn. As I said at the time and you dismissed as me banging on about it, our inability to sort contracts has dropped us in the shit. Only Championship experience brought in is a centre back from Hull who struggled for regular football in his natural position and a player on loan who has struggled for regular game time and to discover his natural position at 3 different clubs. Also signed a player seemingly not close to being fit to play and obviously are massively short at the back and in other areas. Totally short of proven quality and experience. From what we have seen from the new players that have played, safe to say it will likely be a mixed bag.
  15. Today
  16. Back on 2016 Glen proposed answers to the following from our Shadow man and still we haven’t had clarification but are still in the same position. We know the score and have for years but yet we are still going through the motions!
  17. Gueye out, Connor Wickham in? I'd take that
  18. well you asked the question and I gave you my answer. 2 or 3 is joke from you given you don't know how many of the new signings will be hit or miss all depend how quickly the new players settle in and perform and understanding the league. I would take mid table finish now and that what I expected after so many new signings and losing some key players
  19. As high as 5 seems generous. I would have it at 2 or 3. Do you still think top half/top 6? I suspect we are bang in a dogfight that im not sure that we are equipped to handle.
  20. What about Stones, Walker and Shaw who you have missed from your comparison, who were all key parts of a solid defence whose bodies are now failing them? Our defence is now James, Guehi, Burn and Lewis Skelly. A huge difference. Although to be fair, in those Euros we again got a fortunate path to the final but thats a seperate argument. The foundations of the team over the last 7 or 8 years has now gone.
  21. You always say that to be fair.
  22. I know I'm going to get some stick from you. But this is a better squad than 2021. Trippier is nowhere near james' level. Ghuei is better than Maguire. Its not the squad it's tuchel who isn't up to it
  23. any more news on Waggott's replacement and how close are we to appointment?
  24. Raya sprung to mind, can’t think of many others.
  25. These games are a waste of time for everyone involved. Just ones to get out of the way. Mind you, its very poor to only score 3 in 2 against these no hopers. The rationale behind Tuchel's appointment (especially considering contract length) seems to be to get someone proven as a final push now the foundations are built. Its totally flawed. Our chance of winning a major competition in the immediate future seem to have almost certainly passed. A number of key players from those teams are no longer what they were. Walker, a spent force. Stones, a spent force. Shaw, a spent force. Trippier, retired. Even Maguire and Henderson, similar. The squad is massively inferior, yes we missed a few players but the talented players we have all play in the same position so the attack is so imbalanced too. A similar side to the one tonight would be swatted aside by a number of countries. Dan Burn is not a top player.
  26. We can't sell or Loan Gueye out when we can't sign a replacement I can understand that he isn't happy not playing but until the January he has to stay here. I thought Ismael would suit Gueye but I was 100% wrong,
