  1. Past hour
  2. Never said they were I have plenty of empathy arbitro for football fans but football is changing regarding the role of TV within the sport. 75% of EFL are 3pm kick off time. Hope we are disagree on the empathy part but respect each other opinion even tho we dont agree on this issue
  3. Head coaches being open and honest is good but we have to remember it's only up to a point. In no way are they ever going to throw themselves under the bus nor their bosses, unless they feel it's time to get sacked and get paid up ! Literally hanging onto every word they say as gospel is for the fairies a pinch of salt is always needed.
  4. I've defended Pears in that past but there is definitely something not wired up right with him if the rumours are true and i don't doubt they are.
  5. I was just talking for Sky Sports subscription. SWho has asked me? Not seen anyone ask unless they are on ignore list. Yes I read the minutes and 40 mins into the podcast with Glen and Kidder noise.
  6. I was against him being number 2 from the start, correct. He is a bloody untested 18 year old. Well, he was tested once against a League 1 side and failed the test. Its too early. Its not fair on him to put him in a position where a Toth injury leaves him playing games at a level hes not ready for, it will do him damage and it will jeopardise our chances of survival. Its not about being patient. Hes 18. If we chucked in a 15 year old tomorrow and he struggled and I said he isnt ready, would that again just be me showing an unreasonable lack of patience? Pears should be 2nd choice until a senior replacement is found. He isnt beyond 3rd choice for footballing reasons. Stop just swallowing everything the club says and does. You never quite commit to saying that you DEFINITELY would have Michalski as 2nd choice, but you defend it nonetheless. Would you be happy with him as 2nd choice? If Toth has got a knock during the week, would you be nervous or comfortable if he started tomorrow?
  7. That he wasnt happy with the interviews and felt like he was throwing under the bus? Then its an issue of our own making because he played the first game. And yes, I know, you appreciate Ismael being "open and honest" I dont need to hear it again. Its just a shame that it leaves the team much weaker ahead of an important game.
  8. The only reason we've had good seasons recently bar one and the only reason we actually stayed up then was down to the good starts and getting as many points on the table as early as possible. So yes this one feels different and what concerns me is the conceding of goals early in games, an issue that never seems to go away no matter who is coaching them.
  9. But that is not because of purely football reasons If this was a purely football decision, Michalski would be loaned out to play (rather than sit on the bench) for his development & Pears would either be 2nd choice, or replaced with another senior keeper
  10. Think of getting rid of 6-8 grand a week and replacing with a grand a week....🫣
  11. Apparently QPR are due to receive about £6M in a sell on fee from Ezes move to Arsenal. So that's another team who were likely thought of as a bottom half of the table rival who just got a boost to their transfer kitty & wage budget Yes I am assuming that income does affect the QPR budget
  12. No it's on harsh from you. You were against him being number 2 from the start. Based on one game? So much for patience with youth players from you! Senior cover? Pears isnt even 3rd choice ATM and if the rumours are true when can he play next?
  13. I read the Bloxham message as 'glad you made it out to the US', rather than out of the club. But with how the club is run now, could easily be either.
  14. do you think we should pick up if the rumours are true about last week game why he wasn't involve?
  15. I have a good deal with Virgin media. 118 pounds a month for every channel including tnt sports. I got it knocked down from 185 pounds a month

  17. Massive game already. Lose again and the concerns really grow. I have always thought that people have overestimated our likeliness of relegation in past seasons but this one feels different. Birmingham and Wrexham already have miles better squads so they wont be close to a dogfight. Potential rivals like Hull, Charlton and Preston have all started well so a loss would just leave further ground to catch already. We also know that no matter what results are, Ismael is safe as they wont be paying between 2 and 3 years of his contract up. I presume we again will be choosing not to include our captain despite him still being a Rovers player for the time being?
  18. Today
  19. You can't do that , think of the Academy minutes !
  20. If we are destined to fight a relegation this season, sorry transition this season then we need a capable back up keeper not a rookie whose already in one game thrown away a goal. Beyond stupid to gamble on otherwise and at the moment that back up is Pears, only an idiot would get rid of him just to allow a kid to be backup.
  21. I doubt it’s 250k for trav closer to 1mill but yes I take your point and agree
  22. Michalski is not ready. There are no cup games until Jan partly because of his performance. We have to have senior cover because if he is chucked in at Championship level, it will cost us points. None of that is a criticism, hes 18. Shouldnt be an immediate Championship deputy.
  23. This. And the most worrying thing is that this wasn't just a one-off mistake, he makes them regularly. When you throw his positional deficiencies into the mix, it just baffles me how he's played so many games for us. Being a decent shot shopper just isn't enough for a GK at this level, you need to have a rounded level of general competence - and Pears just doesn't have it. As a backup to Toth, I don't mind too much. But I would much prefer Michalski to get the opportunity to play our cup and occasional league matches (unless a decent loan can be found for him).
  24. If you don't want any other Sky apart from Sky Sports, then you can normally get a sub £30/month deal with Now TV for just the Sky Sports package, as long as you sign up for a minimum term. This doesn't include TNT sports, but it is a lower budget option that may suit some
  25. Yep, when the truth is we are willing to risk vital points tomorrow with having a stronger squad for the sake of hustling for another £250k for Trav. Whilst also waiting another few weeks for clubs to be more desperate to off load players for cheaper.
  26. This is the man who accuses someone of swerving questions, and at the same time is unable to give a yes or no answer when asked, at least half a dozen times, if he has read Glens minutes
  27. Today I’m going for a continued silence on Travis and contracts confirmation we’re slightly closer to a signing but nothing imminent another spiel about transition and bedding the new players in
