  1. Past hour
  2. Not that it matters, but imo Tom did all the real donkey work behind the scenes and John was more the PR man ( which tbf he was very good at)
  3. Merry Christmas Rev. I am, discussing things on here whilst watching football and Darts. Plus a good dinner out at the pub with family this afternoon
  4. There’s no apology necessary - I just wanted to check I wasn’t going mad 😄😄 I’ve re-read the regulation and can see where you’re coming from - whether what Rovers have done constitutes a breach, I’m really not sure.
  5. 😆 That's good then. As long as you respect it but totally disagree with it with utter disbelief just a little bit, that makes me feel so much better. Merry Christmas mate, take the night off and enjoy yourself!
  6. I simply asked a question instead of blaming Rovers without the facts, now some people have contacted Sheff Wed and find out what the situation actually is. It was a simple question, you are very happy to ask questions and want them answering but don't like answering that like whether you are boycotting the Watford game. I was very open saying no I won't and why I won't whether respecting others who will or are boycotting already
  7. He's a funny one. The away performances and results (over a half season, not just a few fluke results) tell me that he knows how to set up a team. But then the home performances & results show that he hasn't found a way to win games where we have to take the initiative. There's no question that the players are playing for him and, whilst it's a bit Marmite, I like his honest, direct answers on most things. I can deal with honesty, it's the generic football manager speak that sends me to sleep. So he's nowhere near to be being in the 'useless piece of shit' (Kean / Coyle) group. But he's clearly not as savvy as the likes of Eustace or JDT in terms of getting a tune out of a group. You do also have to take into account how we're being run by criminally-inept administrators. I think I lean more towards the 'he's actually doing alright in the circumstances' column, though the home form needs to pick up - and quickly.
  8. So pretty much everybody else that did the job before him (and indeed with him) was much better. So like I said you didn’t rate him.
  9. Im not twisting anything. Youve dominated the thread doing everything you can to deflect and divert blame away from the club. I also find your consistent desire to know whether I am attending every game when its totally irrelevant to be a little strange. But no, I am not going.
  10. He did an OK job. I much preferred Tom Finn out of the two. And Terry Ibbotsson before him. And David Brown and Derek Keighley To listen to most people talk you'd think he was putting the ball in the net at one end and keeping it out at the other though.
  11. I just don't understand how you can't see how good Tronstad is. I respect your opinion but totally disagree with it with utter disbelief
  12. l Yet he sold for £4m and doubled his salary and Tronstad is still stuck here.
  13. We were linked with him last summer when Eustace wanted him but others didn't. We got Ohashi instead. It was just a suggestion, that's it all. I wonder if we will move Sambou Soumano who bid for during the summer and apparently only 6 months on contract or Milan Smit who we will linked to during the final weeks of the window.
  14. You didn’t rate St John though…
  15. Seems it's only me that's not allowed to rate a player. No-one constantly kicked off at people that didnt rate Raya etc
  16. Good to see you're still respecting your own mantra of respecting other people's opinions...... Except when you disagree with them of course.
  17. Just Rev being Rev, once he makes his mind up that’s that. Been a patten all the way back to John (‘St John’) Williams not being up to it.
  18. I don’t think he’s 100% fit but he’s turning out anyway.
  19. Well - 1) Peter Dobing for sure. However the record books say the scorer was Alistair McCleod. 2) 104 goals. 3) Rovers v Man Utd in 1959. 4) Ronnie Cope and Bill Foulkes. The one just behind Dobing’s boot could be Wilf McGuinness when he had hair. 5) A little dog. 6) 39,621.
  20. But how is it relevant to us? We wouldnt be signing Kyogo. Dykes is behind him, Duksch and Stansfield in the pecking order. If you are using a failed signing who has scored 0 goals as a benchmark to prove that an alternative is good, then that would be incredibly low standards. My opinion on Dykes spans across a career of an inability to score many goals. We were linked a couple of years ago (was more Nixon bullshit) and I was against it then. He hasnt done anything since to change my mind.
  21. I still don't get how you can't see how good Tronstad actually is, totally and utter baffling
  22. He’s a standard Championship mediocrity, not on this planet can he ‘do a bit of everything’… he can’t pass a ball for a start.
  23. Thanks Herbie! Hey.... I was thinking could you bring out a Tronstad T Shirt for me in the BRFCS shop. I was thinking maybe a Crab wearing a Blackburn Rovers Football shirt with No 6 on the back staring wistfully at a sign saying "Do not cross the half way line" "Do not collect £200" optional. (Give me that one I take enough grief about him the rest of the year)
