  1. Past hour
  2. These stockholm syndrome sufferers will no doubt be out in force blaming the boycotters and stay-aways for relegation if/when it happens. Anything and anyone but Venkys! They'll blame fellow supporters, Waggott, Ismael, Gestede, Pasha, all the previous administrators, managers, players, the weather, the EFL, Covid, small town small gates etc. The one thing they won't blame is the people ultimately in control and responsible for it all. What a strange way to live your life.
  3. He's already said he won't change the formation. ---------------------Toth ------O'Riordan--McLoughlin--Pratt Miller--------------------------------Powell -------------Tronstad---TGH -------------------Baradji ----------Ohashi---------Jorgensen Assuming Cantwell isn't back and he's already said that Alebiosu won't start.
  4. The question is, would relegation make it more, or less likely that Venkys would sell up?
  5. Kind of backs up what the Peterborough end said about buying Leonard and how they were preparing themselves to pay more. Gestede is just desperate to sell anybody he can, bring money in so he can look good to the owners whilst spending a bit of it again on his united nations cheap punt scheme. What's he getting out of it ?
  6. Yeah, once they've gone or a takeover is well on the way. Absolutely.
  7. I've heard Pears is available for £1M no wait £500k!
  8. We definitely havent missed out on 6 points. For a start we have already got a point in one of the rearranged games, having again led 1 nil at the time of the abandonment.
  9. I'm all for showing what we can do but after they've gone
  10. They'll just go to the extreme and see if anyone notices. Blackburn in bombshell offer for Declan Rice - £2mil. Then everyone on Facebook will say "see they are ambitious!"
  11. I think a 'reverse boycott' is a bit pointless. We've got recent evidence that there is still a decent sized fan base, it still shows up for big matches, but is disenchanted enough to not attend on a regular basis. In the same way that the organised boycott isn't going to completely empty the stadium, an organised reverse boycott wouldn't completely fill it. However, if we drew Liverpool or Man United etc in the FA Cup, that probably would actually fill it. Any prospective buyer who intends to make a success of the club will surely do some research into the existing and potential fan bas. They're not going to see 30 second highlights on the off chance on ITV of a fairly full stadium and decide to buy the club.
  12. Yeah I think HP was offered or enquired about.
  13. Fuck me that is woeful. Not a comment on your choice but on the dearth of quality in the squad.
  14. 2-0 down by half time, then it either ends 2 or 3-0. Boycott won't really have worked as it will just look like a normal attendance, similar to maybe the Milwall one. Ismael to say everything will be ok as we'll have a couple of players back next week. I'd be going to a 4-5-1 and just try and be really hard to beat. Toth Atcheson O'Riordan Pratt Pickering TGH Forshaw Tronstad Garrett Powell Jorgensen
  15. You can’t reason with some people. I have paid for my seat by way of ST but I will not attend the game. Something needs to change in order to save this once great club of ours, at the very least I will know that I did what little I could in order to protest and seek such change.
  16. They do for every home game to be fair.
  17. Wouldn't be surprised to see Nixon chucking out a casual link to us spending £5m on a player
  18. Can't say for certain just because we were winning those games, I wouldn't trust this lot to hold onto a 1-0 lead going into the final stages of any game. Why would he be worried? He is doing exactly what he is being asked, to downsize this club so much that its manageable for our owners and there minions. If they don't manage the relegation this season, they definitely will next.
  19. He is doing exactly what the regime wants him to do. For the 100th time, football results are not a priority here. This is exactly what will happen, lose the next two fairly comfortably, then we'll beat Sheffield Wednesday and somehow get a point at Norwich and they won't stop banging on about it for ages. Then we'll go another 10 or so without a win.
  20. Napkin count has Middlesbrough with 9 injuries atm, including to key players like Brittain, McGree, Strelec. Maybe its the extra 4 that accounts for the 20 position gap on the league table.
  21. Today
  22. One of the big draws for the club for a prospective new owner has to be our Academy. In many ways, it could be one of the saving graces (IF we stay up...) of playing Academy players this season. Imagine a good ownership structure with actual qualified football people running the club...you would have a potential money tap of young players coming through, properly managed, progressed, delivering for a good Manager and sold by football finance people that know what they're doing....
  23. Given how arrogant he evidently is, this coming out is bringing me joy. To be so horrendous at negotiating that someone literally repeating your price back at you causes you to half that price is... hilarious. He's that dreadful combination of incompetent and confident. Wanker.
  24. Every team that have visited Ewood this season, have bounced back with useless ismael in the dugout.
  25. I've been to every home game this season, but I'm seriously considering joining the boycott.
  26. Maybe we should join in with the Watford supporters, (your a supporter, if you go through the turnstiles) Ismael is the worst manager in the Championship. Rovers 150th anniversary, and heading into league 1 under Ismael.
