  1. Past hour
  2. If people want to buy a season ticket so be it. If people don't want to buy a season ticket so be it. But don't whinge about your decision later on.
  3. It looks like it is close to 80k that they are saving on those players. I've seen the following site mentioned by a few neutrals as being the most reliable when it comes to player wages: https://www.capology.com/club/blackburn/salaries/ Assuming the above is correct, Brittain and Batth are already on 10k a week. If the whisper about a self imposed 10k a week limit is true, then we can see why Batth and Brittain haven't signed new deals so far. Forshaw has come in and is on 10k according to that, whilst Travis is supposedly on 3.4k. It has often been said that they have a different wage approach when it comes to Academy products. Dolan on ยฃ577 a week sounds ridiculous for a Championship first team regular, but it is believable under this setup.
  4. As long as we can take it mate. We have to outlast them scum in India, sad thing is I don't think I will kive to see them gone.
  5. They can't be trusted to tell the truth on pricing anyway. Last season they promised that midweek fixtures at Ewood would be capped at ยฃ20 for adults under Category C. Then Sheffield Wednesday came along so they put it at ยฃ25. Lesson to learn is they will just make it up as they go along, pointless planning anything with this lot.
  6. I am just waiting for the Cantwell to Derby scoop to come out.
  7. Brother .... i deeply respect your posts and for me all rovers fans are brothers in arms..even when we agree or when we agree to disagree .. but WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING ? lol.... these chicken chingas has been nothing but skint when it come to rovers starting from the infamous interview of leasing players in 2012.... for everything to even ground management to sponsers to corporate offers ... no1 penny pinchers... i even have reason to believe our drop to championship was a plan as this is the perfect milking spot... We are the only club who dropped from PL and not once reached playoff since dropping from PL and with numerous times falling off exactly dec-feb but miraculously win promotion from L1 on first try... this plot is unrealistic for movies but it's our miserable story
  8. Did they agree on a mid July date for the next one? I want to read them crowing about โ€˜heading towards 9,000 season tickets soldโ€™, โ€˜larger revenue than Preston!โ€™
  9. Depending on how Ismael intends to set up he could be replaced by a quicker more direct guy who equally struggles for end product, does half the graft and is way less robust. I trust the Dolan critics already have a Kargbo chant lined up to show their approval...๐Ÿ˜œ
  10. Of course we will miss him. He is our best wide man and possibly our best attacking player, although that isnt saying much. Put it this way, if we signed a player of his level from another Championship club, our fans would be excited. Even if we signed a player showing similar numbers in an inferior foreign league but with an exotic name, they would.
  11. I would bet there has been very little effort to keep these players. We never seem to let our players they are wanted and important. Almost just oieces of meet, no love from above. Not like Jack. Even post Jack we showed we cared.
  12. If he ever develops a better football mind and a more frequent end product he will be quite a valuable player. The IF is the gamble. I think we will miss him more that we expect. Personally I would like to have seen him try his luck at one of the Scottish giants. I would have had more respect for him that way. Right now he has made a lateral move as far as his level of playing. Rovers or Derby we both play the same teams and there fore he is playing at the same level. Thing is he deffo not Prem level so Scotland might have made sense.
  13. It's always been about the cash in my opinion. He was gone even before Eustace left but once JE went to Derby I always felt that is where Dolan would end up. Putting together a known outfit is JE, clever. They'll be streets ahead of us this coming season.
  14. He clearly isnt "shit." Hes a decent Championship wide man.
  15. Pretty much what I thought, easy that one, who needs Nicko.
  16. To be fair, Derby need to have ambition because they almost got relegated. Most Rovers fans would ideally want us to be more ambitious than re-signing the likes of Weimann, Batth and Dolan. It's unlikely we will improve on those given our lack of financial support of course.
  17. There's bound to be a price rise for match by match buyers i think they've been static for a while certainly in the JW upper. Waggot i think sneaked around it sliding in more cat A's and after he'd pledged all night games would be cat B. Wouldn't be surprised if the centre upper section becomes a target again to offset reducing the riverside ST early bird etc.
  18. Today
  19. Well i think they have been way over 20 million on a number of occasions but not for a long time.
  20. Canโ€™t believe weโ€™re still debating Dolan tbh, the guys shit and shouldโ€™ve been offloaded in January.
  21. English players. Scottish and Welsh players are usually as cheap as foreign ones
  22. No think thatโ€™s it this time, no โ€˜phase 3โ€™ where it would be a grand for the front row of the Blackburn End.
