I wouldn't have brought De Neve but I would brought on Ribeiro instead and push Hedges up front with Gueye if Ohashi or Gudjohnsen couldn't have stayed on. Also people expected to get beat and well beaten yet Rovers performed very well and actually got a better than most predicted on here,.

I think it's a weak as hell free kick, particularly for any ref to give in the last minute... however we didn't defend it when we should have. Simple as that. Second ball too easy.

The game was done. Hedges has history, he tried to chip Woodman in the 90th minute at Deepdale one-on-one, which led to us throwing 2 points away in stoppage time there. I'm not seeing him win us many games, owes us a goal and a few shots on target I would say............. that would be nice wouldn't it. It's poor play seemingly supported by the manager, The King of Excuses. "Tronstad this, referee that. We planned an entire season for 4 at the back. There are too many fixtures. Even though it's never a foul,I wouldn't so much have minded if the ref had given it. It's such a lottery as to whether linesmen get involved or not.

I read Arbitro’s posts avidly, we played in the same primary school team, but there are two separate issues: was it a foul? Probably not. Did Hedges need to make any contact at all? Definitely not: it was a foot from the touchline and six feet from the corner flag, there were two defenders right there and another not far away, zero risk in that situation.

Clumsy tackle. In the modern game, you should never give the opposition an excuse to go down, and that's what Hedges did.
