  1. Past hour
  2. I agree , Suhail and RG should be the targets ! Every game , we play !
  3. After Christmas he'll have 2.5 years left on his contract. The figures I read are that it's about £500k per year. It's not a colossal amount to pay up, and I think they are often less than that with mutual consents, aren't they? Well, we're not at that stage just yet. I'm an optimist, and we'll get better.
  4. It will, but many of our fans will target the wrong person/people.
  5. It could be a very toxic atmosphere , doubt the owners are looking forward to the fixture , I wonder if Suhail & RG will go AWOL on that day ? Is the game on SKY ?
  6. I live in yorkshire now and the lad delivering our tesco shop friday night spotted my lad was wearing rovers shorts He was a donny fan and was raving about him saying how good he is
  7. That's pretty fair. Unfortunately though, as Mark says, I dont know how we'll be able to afford to sack him if he continues to bomb. Edit: Even if we wanted to.
  8. Man City got what they deserved, they thought it was won but Brighton subs changed the game. Surprised by the Forest West Ham score. Pleased for Potter. supposedly Summerville changed the game there
  9. The derby obsession stuff is extremely strange. They don’t care about us but because they took our manager and Eustace wanted to sign players who did well for him it’s a massive rival now. Tinpot and makes us look an odd bunch. I would prefer the spotlight to be on the owners + Suhail.
  10. I agree this Derby comparison stuff is irrelevant we’re both crap
  11. Hedges has played well in the last couple of games but the cynic in me says that it's no coincidence after reports of us looking for competition on the right hand side emerged. His position is under threat, but unless we do something in the next 24 hours, he might be sitting comfortably in the starting line-up which is never healthy.
  12. Emil Riis and Windass both available for free should have tried for them imo. Riis not doing too bad at Bristol city
  13. With every signing derby make I dread the 150th anniversary game even more. My word.
  14. He will be here as long as he wants to be unfortunately. Results dont matter.
  15. I'll give Ismael a month or so after the international break to steady things. I don't think it's unfair to say he's had a toxic situation to deal with this summer. However, as football goes, he won't be afforded too much longer than that.
  16. Montgomery fair enough to a degree, still young and barely seen him in the position though. But Tavares looks better than Forshaw to me.
  17. They were dead rubbers for our opponents couldn't ask for 2 better teams to play . Out of nowhere we won a few games at the end of the season , a strange set off results gave us a chance on the last day.
  18. I agree. I still think we're short up front.
  19. Carter like Buckley seems to have absolutely fallen off a cliff after being given a long term deal by Broughton. Whilst both seem to have backfired, it's about the only thing Id give Broughton any credit for, it seemed a good idea to tie both down at the time.
  20. Montgomery needs a loan to league 2 or Scotland and Forshaw shouldn’t be included in the squad,
  21. We should be signing another midfielder and another forward who can play across the front 3/4. I suspect that we're done though.
  22. After an horrific start which could partly be put down to some players sulking he turned it round and did well, with Eustaces team. He is now being judged on his own team which is perfectly normal and he does have the excuse of needing to gel however they gelled alright last week then the same side looked shite for 45 mins 7 days later. So he's being judged accordingly imo and to be fair he hooked the worst of the lot at half time. It;'s where we go now that matters does he revert back to that starting line up again or shake it up. And how does he integrate the new attackers ? His biggest test is just beginning.
  23. When we signed him, my Newport County supporting pal gave me a call and said we had got a real player. He had seen him play a couple of times against County and said he stood out as really good CH. He hasn’t been given a chance yet at Ewood but neither Carter or Wharton seem resilient or consistent performers at Championship level.
  24. Off to Vicarage Road after the international break…can Rovers get back on track against the Hornets? Recent record…
