Sorry that's absolute rubbish. Obviously that would normally be the case with any other side but Wednesday have been ripped apart by Chansiri, their situation and the effects of administration. Ignoring all the points deductions they've 11 points from 23 games and a goal difference of -27. Anything other than a victory against them by at least 2 clear goals is a catastrophic result imo.

Cantwell was the only player last night that remotely looked like making something happen. Baradji once in particular just totally gave up trying to chase back which nearly had us in serious danger.

Phillips maybe be surplus at Spurs but he has had plenty of regular game time on loan spells and has played more than he would have here in the same time period. Are the 2 attackers that have been on the bench lately, the ones that stand out at under 21 level? Do you think they could have an impact?

Strange isnt it - take away his awful shooting (which could, in part, be down to the injury he seems to be playing with) - I actually thought he had a reasonable match. I also like the look of Baradji - be interesting to see how he develops as he builds up his match fitness (if he doesnt get injured)

I must admit that I don't see all the fuss about Tyjon. I've seen him numerous times and come away wondering what other clubs see in him. Clearly, I'm missing something that others obviously see in him. It will be interesting to see how his career develops. Rory Finneran is struggling to get a game for the Under-21's at Newcastle whilst Ash Phillips seems surplus to requirements at Tottenham. Unless you are an Adam Wharton - a really special talent - I suspect it's very difficult to bridge that gap to the Premier League, particularly as those clubs can go out and spend a fortune on the ready made article.

There is no proof the white shirt was ever worn. Some minutes have been uncovered in rececent times stating an apparent intention to wear a white kit at first but there's no evidence this actually was what happened. We were definitely in a blue and white halved kit by 1878 so we dont know if a white kit was worn for a week a month or a season or two or not at all.

Ignoring Cantwell's half dozen shots either wide of the posts or straight at Charles, Ohashi had 3 straightforward chances from which Gudjohnsen would certainly have scored at least one without being either the second coming of Shearer or Rhodes. He would just need to be the 7 goals in 17 appearances Andre Gudjohnsen which is his Rovers track record.
