Don't think I've ever said Tronstad is "hopeless" pretty ordinary is more apt but either way my views on him are completely irrelevant to my views on Miller. It IS denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity. Which is clearly was. Not an obvious goal. You can't interpret rules differently based on a players ability and what they might do next attacker or defender in the phase of play that was denied. If he's in the box it's a penalty and arguably a yellow card if he tried to play the ball. Outside the box the rules are clear that this is a red card. It's possibly the worst decision I've ever seen at Ewood. As I say I'm certain it was club bias, I'm confident Pratt, McLoughlin or Miller walk if the roles are reversed.

I am surprised that anyone thinks it should have been anything other than a red. But it didnt cost us the game, thats the key. We held a 1 nil lead going into injury time, again. We might have not had that lead in a totally different game against 10, we might have had a stronger lead, we will never know. The game was thrown away by us, not the referee.

imo the ref was caught daydreaming and did`nt see the incident,hence he panicked and guessed,he also missed a blatant bodycheck on yuki,which should have been a penalty,if the refereeing adjudicator has even bothered to evaluate him,then he should be given a warning for a terrible performance,which is basically the problem with officiating in this country,you can get away with being useless because there is no deterent
