  1. Past hour
  2. You forgot to mention he's happy to be here because he's playing a level above his natural one.
  3. Name another goal he was involved with.
  4. poor val,he`s not had the summer budget downgrade yet,1/1 he`ll walk away at the end of january
  5. Hope that they’ve offered Batth a proper contract and they’ve not tried to lowball him. Slightly worrying they’ve not announced him as signing on if they’ve offered a contract already.
  6. Or maybe Broughton and other staff had done all that was needed, told the media boys to release it but then Venkys and their slippery stooges pulled the plug.
  7. everyone thought the paperwork had gone through, it hadn't.
  8. I see Hedges a good squad player and I like him. He was very often involved in our goals towards end of the season, like Ohashi goal at Sheffield.
  9. Whilst the main talk of the retain list is for the first team, this is what we now have available at U21 & U18 level Is 8 keepers overkill? A couple of these players are overage (or will be next season) * = contract offered GK - Michalski, Barrett, Goddard *, Honor, Kahn, Thompson, Wolsoncroft, Holt CB - O'Riordan, Atcheson, Litherland, Pratt, Davies, Olson, Decandia, Kelley-Quinn LB - Batty *, Powell, Pates, Leeming, RB - Duru, Houghton, McIlroy (technically a centre back, but has played right back for the U18s this season) CM - Garrett, Montgomery, O'Grady-Macken,, Dunn, J.Edmondson, Farkas, Vare, Mansbridge, Potter, Ball AM/Wingers - Tyjon, Wood, A.Doherty, Strich, Dlamini, Leatherbarrow, Sergeant, McCoy, Clanford, Lister, Mullarkey-Matthews * S - Leonard (presumably to build fitness), Boggan, Mafoumbi, Joseph, Higgins, Cryer Also Odogun, although I am not familiar of his position, from his instagram, it seems like we have taken him from Wolves No mention of Silver Eze, in either the retain list or new scholarship intake, so assume he has moved on I was surprised to see Rhys Doherty on the released list, always looked fairly solid & could play across the back 4, which would have been useful given a lack of depth at right back (in the youth teams)
  10. He didn't start either Playoff game. started 13 games in 21 games during the league, I think he is another one who need to leave and find first team football to develop and play regular football
  11. Maybe they don't know what's going on behind the scenes.
  12. Yeah like the social media team weren’t putting up stuff from ‘the boss’/‘the gaffer’ in the run up to an official approach from Derby…
  13. You’re happy we’ve triggered hedges, who hasn’t been a success at rovers.
  14. I don't follow Orient particularly closely if I'm being honest. I thought there would be a decent chance after a season of pro football with our thin budget he may have been looked at. Hopefully we are onto bigger and better things, I'd be very happy if we were.
  15. Not anywhere assume he's been offered a deal externally.
  16. Only a matter of time, probably not true yet as that would be impressive work even by Venky pond life standards to force a manager out before his first transfer window has even opened. But it will come. Once he realises that he'd get more backing, clarity and plan working at Clitheroe he'll set the wheels in motion Remember - the last two preferred unemployment and a high risk of League One with Derby County rather than stay at this stinking cesspit. If that doesn't tell you a story nothing will.
  17. why would we offer him anything? has he been a success at Orient?
  18. Markanday not being offered anything may show just how little money the manager has to play with next season.
  19. yes we all know what you think of Hedges as a player, gloating? give it a rest RF99 with stirring the pot, I am just pleased we have released him now. right decision what is serious club?
  20. Forshaw I imagine they have low balled and will approach him late in the window (similar to McFadzean last summer) if he hasn't sorted himself out by then
  21. we paid 500k for him, but he has hardly been a success at Orient in the second half and was on the bench for their playoffs game. How much do you really think we would get and surely its best we done the right thing and get rid, he isn't good enough and we didn't take easy call as others say we would?
  22. erm.... s I was saying, we have about 5 training keepers lol Madness
  23. Don’t celebrate too soon… ‘As the summer transfer window progresses, the club will keep in close contact with midfielder Adam Forshaw, who made 17 appearances after arriving at Rovers from Plymouth Argyle in January, however the 33-year-old is entitled to explore other options.’
  24. Interesting to see that we are still collecting keepers like they're pokemon cards but have released shit tons of players elsewhere. I'm confused by this 'strategy'. However it certainly makes sense to say bye to Vale, Eastham, Whitehall (sadly, too many injury concerns), Gilsenan (same as Whitehall), Forshaw (thank fuck), and most of the ones released. Surprised to see Markanday released though, didn't we have a 1 year option? Surely we could have got a small fee for him, or at least a sell on. We paid money for him, a fair bit, you'd think we want some return for that. I can only think his wages are too high for the level of club we think would be interested.
