  1. Past hour
  2. Not sure that's the message from VI. but thanks for repeating something mentioned 56 times on the thread.
  3. I’ve never tried it so don’t know if the court has a β€˜block’ but there are certainly buttons to allow me to unmute my mic or enable my camera.
  4. I agree with all of this. Just can’t wait to see them in the flesh first.
  5. I think we can all agree that no more money will be spent after Baradji. Our budget was 5million if I'm not mistaken, we are surely in n around that mark after Henriksson and Baradji.
  6. Income does not impact the budget - Rudy Apr 25 πŸ˜‰
  7. It's a big if, but if the Brittain money helps us bring in a better wide player to replace RH, then maybe we won't be weaker overall.
  8. I've not outright said it but I've voiced concern SPL fans don't think he's a technical player, and outside of Korea (recent loss), Saudi (recent win) and Japan (recent win) - I don't pay much attention to his overlapping ability against Indonesia and Bahrain Very excited to be proved wrong
  9. Think his overall point is that people saying x player is not as good as x without seeing both play.
  10. I look forward to all the new replacements -of course, time will be needed for bedding in, adapting to the new project and transition - and then I look forward to significant expenditure in January for reinforcements for a definite promotion push that will propel us into the top 6 -it's been coming for some time now (apart from league 1 of course)....
  11. We could be stronger if we sign a right winger who can make things happen. My reservations are - I haven’t seen many good 6’2” fullbacks and not many centre halves make good full backs. Of course I’ll reserve judgement until I’ve seen him play in the flesh.
  12. I think very few, if any, have written players off before seeing them play. What has happened, is people have noticed patterns over years, looked at the experience/careers/price/etc of players going out, vs payers coming in, and come to a conclusion. I said a few days ago that in most cases, any players brought in are likely to be an immediate downgrade on any they replace. Now this doesn't mean that any new signings are going to be rubbish, and it doesn't mean that they wont improve, and possibly even given time, be better than those who they replaced. But it is a logical step, seeing as we are in general replacing experienced Championship performers with younger players from overseas
  13. Looking forward to Axel's rose video.
  14. It’s a great point… The number who are β€˜concerned’ or blatantly claim were weaker now, simply because they’ve not seen the signings play is laughable. Listen, all of the players we’ve signed COULD be shit, but I’m not stupid enough to write anyone off until I’ve watched them play and the number of fully grown men willing to do so is truly bewildering! πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ€£
  15. And to be fair he wasn't a good right-back. Remember him taking a lot of stick from the Riverside (no surprise there!) Moving him into midfield was inspired though. Was that Tony P or Don Mackay who did that?
  16. Anyone remember the collective attitude, when Mark Atkins replaced Chrissy Price?
  17. I will make a further prediction When Liverpool replace Salah, that will also be a downgrade However, his replacement will still be good, probably one of the best Both of those things can be true simultaneously
  18. tax and financial purposes ...if they don't give a fuk...we'll be in admin or filed bankruptcy ...they can't do both as they'll be called for the instruments by the bank... every cost in rovers books is inflated ...especially agent fees
  19. I think the request that Pasha, Waggott and Gestede not attend matches was a good move, in hindsight. It was an unusual and quite petty request that the fan groups surely understood would be ignored, but it was a different angle of attack to the blanket "venkys out, sell the club". It caught people running the club off guard a bit and it got media attention in the way that the last ten years of "venkys out, sell the club" hasn't. I think since then they've continued to trip themselves up when speaking on the record and showed a level of incompetence many of us expected. Every time we're able to force the leadership out in the open they continue to expose the rubbish job they've done and continue to do. Given Waggott's speedy departure and then now coming out and threatening to ban fans, I'd say it ruffled feathers more than anything else in the last half-decade
  20. Has anybody said that? I've seen people say we have downgraded from Brittain, but nobody who has actually said he's shite.
  21. You're wrong, he's shite, the people on here who've never seen him play said so.
  22. We are waiting for Ronaldinho to sign on a pay as you play first, but Beckham has signed. Possibly, anyway, he has been photographed in a Rovers shirt but nobody is sure if we pressed send. Don't worry though, we have a 1 billion quid warchest waiting for us if we can just get approval from the court toda- ah they've adjourned. Something fucking like that anyway.
  23. You can pipe up in proceedings? Now that seems like something we could exploit...50 fans all coordinated sort of thing, that would have to garner some attention.
  24. Has Axel Witsel still not signed then? How about Riquelme?
  25. maybe I should have put "disappointed" in inverted commas?
  26. I'll be disappointed if we do. Vile song, that frog was annoying as hell! Plus the original song is great and would serve the same purpose.
