Henrikson is just pointless.

He's being asked to play as a traditional #9. Adam Wharton would look like a fish out of water too. He's competing, but he's on a hiding to nothing.

I’ll shut up after this one too. going to be a very unpopular opinion this, Montgomery is our best CM, in my humble opinion. He was shaky when he first came in but he doesn’t half keep it ticking over. If he had a bit of quality in there with him I think he could be one of the first names on the team sheet.

Almost like Ismael is being forced to select him. He apparently scored 26 goals in the Swedish top flight - I can only assume it resembles a pub league.

If we don’t play them in a 3rd round cup tie when we have ten players out injured, we never will. Personally, I’d much rather watch all the academy lads bloodied this season than any of the Rudy dross

Here’s what I don’t understand, if that’s the understanding, you still do your own research? Any of us could have watched any of them last season and knew they weren’t good enough! I remember when we signed De Neve and I watched a 7 minute montage of speedboat with no driver with nothing crosses. Knew instantly he was shit!

That corner was certainly one of the worst I've seen. It's like he thought he was taking a goal kick. No idea why he is even on them, has to be players on that pitch for us that can take them better than that.

Getting very scrappy now. Henrikkson (especially) and Hickman are terrible. We look ok until we get near the opposition box but as with the first team the lack of punch up front is painful to watch.

Happy to get the half time drawing, and loving the commitment of these boys.

De neve really is awful

Anyone in this forum who watches enough football can see more than clearly that the players Rudy has brought in this summer couldn’t lace the majority of the academy lads boots, it’s only in recent weeks I’ve been thinking what is the strategy and who is putting the scout reports together? if it’s about saving money then why not just promote the academy? De Neve I’ve said enough but Henrikkson 😂😂😂 who the fuck thought ‘that lad will change our fortunes, he’s a proper championship player’ he is fucking useless 😂

The point is to win the tie. Otherwise what's the point of travelling up there? If we do with this line up, then fair enough. Job done.

Tbf it would have been a very strange and risky move to sell those players and then say 'don't worry, all their replacements are completely untested players in the U21s'. Although we could have done to sign 2 or 3 less players and put more money into getting quality where we did buy.
