  1. Past hour
  2. Can someone elaborate on the rumours about Lowe being an inside man? Never heard these before but now 3/4 comments on here and on x first Iv read/heard of it
  3. This bloke has been borderline unsackable for years, so this is quite a surprise. This seems like the most plausible reason as to why he stuck around for so long, when managers and assistants came and went.
  4. I’m around 7 miles away (as the crow flies) dry here at the moment too. A nice uneventful hour once they get back on would be good. 🀞
  5. Maybe Lowe was Waggott’s man on the training ground, rather than Venky’s man on the inside? It’s always interesting to see who else loses their job when a Senior figure departs an organisation. Regardless, it’s the Rudy/Pasha show now.
  6. You're a bloody jinx...... The good news is, I'm about 20 miles away from Headingley and its blue sky and sun here, hopefully the weather is heading that way.
  7. Today
  8. You took β€˜retain this portion’ literally didn’t you πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
  9. Fair enough, I don't know anything about shady firings and hirings. My recent view was he seemed like a positive influence on the team in a time where players were thrown into a bad situation.
  10. Disagree entirely. Lowe getting out is a HUGE positive. Rumours he was fired and rehired in a shady way around the time Lambert was around.
  11. Interesting. I think a couple of years ago this would have been seen as a big positive (on here anyway), but now he has filled in and done a reasonable job as caretaker it probably isn't going to be as popular. He used to be widely considered untouchable. I wonder what changed, or if he ever was untouchable after all rather than just lucky and good enough at his job to be kept around.
  12. Wasn't there a rumour a while back that David Lowe provides updates to the owners on how the squad etc is doing? Maybe someone wanted him cut out of the loop.
  13. No I’m not - how very dare you 😁😁 I meant to tire Bumrah out not increase his fitness/form. πŸ˜€
  14. I would think that those exact funds have to be spent on whatever is specified, and a money trail provided...but that it frees up other funds that would have had to go to that. We have spent a couple of undisclosed fees this window, and other fees during this shenanigans, so we clearly aren't banned from spending on players.
  15. Considering he stepped in and did a (i think) decent job when the club pissed off JE, this is a shame.
  16. There are clubs with european football in the mix, he'd never agree to terms here
  17. Are you an India fans wilsden? Give over man.......β˜”
  18. Thought they sent money about twice a year and thought I'd heard figures of about 8 mill previously
  19. A lot of people fall for it just read some of the comments on social media after the ever late to the party LT did a piece on the latest money transfer..... 'Backing the club as always see' 'Bust tomorrow without them' 'Moan when they don't send money, moan when they do' etc etc I know a lot are plants and bots but a lot aren't they are just so totally out of touch with what goes on beyond the bits that make media.
  20. Potentially - opinions may differ on whether this will actually happen.
  21. But doesn't using these new funds to cover running costs then free up the funds that would have been used on running costs to be used elsewhere, such as transfers?
  22. https://x.com/roversxtra/status/1937504751014543484?s=46&t=akslDLyCum6MgJSQBIJ-Sg Rovers linked with Mohamed Guindo
  23. Jake Batty is in the latest training photos (as spotted by Elliott Jackson), maybe he's signing up to a new contract
