Sorry to quote myself but it's the first prediction i've got right in a while  wink.gif  tongue.gif

So it's nip and tuck from here! (assuming we wrap up the 2 aussie wickets)

Good to see us have some momentum going into old trafford!

Who knows if we go 2-1 up we may end up nicking one of the tests when glenn is back and the ashes can stay where they belong!  rover.gif

Most certainly the greatest ever test I've watched. The range of emotions from day 1 to day 4 was almost unbelievable. I couldn't watch towards the end of that, but the feeling of winning was fantasic, leave it to England though to do it in the most difficult way. Well done boys, let's just follow this up with 3 more good performances.

I can only just manage to type i'm still so excited. From the depths of despair to utter joy. I know it was a great test but to lose would have finished me and so i'll try not to gloat because I can imagine how the Aussies feel. Credit to the tail of Australia because they were pretty awesome and very frustrating. I just can't wait until Friday now. As SAR says this series really is living up to the hype and that is great.

Never doubt the power of forum posts! tongue.gif

All credit to warne, lee and kazp for giving us some early morning entertainment!

Not the big momentum wave i thought we'd get but at least it shows the players we can do it and maybe we can push on and take the lead in the series! ohmy.gif

But it's england so who knows! thumbs-up.gif

How much more luck can Andrew "Grabbi" Flintoff have. He aint got a clue against Lee or Warne.

How lucky? Well let’s see;

First innings 68 with the bat and 3 for 52 with the ball.

Second innings 73 with the bat and 4 for 79 with the ball.

It was also noticeable that when the final wicket fell Flintoff went straight to Brett Lee and shook his hand.

So as well as being lucky he is a top sportsman as well.

I know it's difficult to compare sports, but for sheer sporting drama todays dramatic test win by england compares with sunday 14th may 1995 and rovers dramatic final minute defeat to clinch the title.

I think that's a great comparison... although, perhaps I would be feeling as a manure fan would have biggrin.gif

whinging and whining australian muppets, the manure of the cricketing world !

England deserved their luck today and believe me there is no way I am saying the aussies didnt play their part in a thrilling match.

Credit has to be given to each and every player althought he spoilsporting comments from some fo the aussie players are just pure sour grapes.

It was one of the most exciting test matches ever witnessed in modern times.

The chappie or chappess that bemoans a lack of Symonds, he is not in the test squad, he is a one day specialist.

Roll on Old T

tickets for day 1, 2 and 3 all in the members pavilion, now where is that bloody tie laugh.gif
