Roar of the Rover Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Still no goals from any cup ties, so don't expect any yet, especially after the way Birmingham defended at Anfield.
Roar of the Rover Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 No live commentary online, either contractual reasons or a technical fault.
modes98 Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 different 11 roar. Rovers all over brum, should be a few up already. Olsson sounds very decent.
USRoverME Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 soccernet.com has the match on their gamecast live..... sounds like we are all over them, 75-25% possession its showing at the moment.
Presty On Tour Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 No live commentary online, either contractual reasons or a technical fault. thats what i've got i'm watching that soccernet thing usroverme was on about, it's quite tidy!
USRoverME Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 it is usually well off the pace (say 3-5 mins behind) but it give a nice summary and a decnt amount of stats.... its a staple for us states based supporters. of, and Coventry are up 1-0 and ManUre
Presty On Tour Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 around 11,000 coventry fans will be going wild about now hahahahaha
B.R.F.C Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Listening on RW Radio and we are totally all over them trying to score "The perfect goal." Birmingham had one half chance on the break but otherwise have offered nothing. Kingson seems to be a pretty handy keeper for Brum as well. Edit: Commentators suggest that Olsson has been the best player on the pitch so far and is very pacey.
USRoverME Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 well, we've taken 10 shots it seems, so its not that we aren't shooting.... its jsut that only getting 3 on net is very disappointing (and I think one of those 3 it noted as being "on net" was actually blocked by a defender, not the keeper)
philipl Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Malta's Michael Mifsud scored the Coventry goal at OT. Norway be afraid of your journey to Malta in November!
Oakland Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Edit: Commentators suggest that Olsson has been the best player on the pitch so far and is very pacey. That's nice to hear!
B.R.F.C Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 well, we've taken 10 shots it seems, so its not that we aren't shooting.... its jsut that only getting 3 on net is very disappointing (and I think one of those 3 it noted as being "on net" was actually blocked by a defender, not the keeper) Well he has made two superb saves including a fingertip effort on the line to deny Roberts. A goal before half time considering our domination is greatly needed. Edit: Looks like Kingson was injured and had received treatment then trying to get up again collapsed in a heap. Being stretchered off....
grizfoot Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Birmingham keeper in a bit of trouble. I thought it was Samba for a second there... Let's hope the keeper is okay, similiar incident to what happened to Benni at 'Boro apparently.
Alan75 Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 QUOTE(waggy @ Sep 25 2007, 11:39 ) not going tomorrow night £10 is to much for me,hope we play a poor side and go out,the big 4 take the carling cup serious now.last season we lost to chelski and had 2 injurys after playing a full strength team And there's the bloke who suggests free admission for the unemployed in order to boost attendances and atmosphere. can you explian that al You want Rovers to give free or reduced price tickets to the unemployed, yet when the club do reduce prices you dont go. Ive no problem with you not going, finances dictate situations but to suggest that Rovers go out of the competition is a distructive comment and doesnt encourage attendances.
HairwayToSteven Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Malta's Michael Mifsud scored the Coventry goal at OT. Norway be afraid of your journey to Malta in November! He came from Norwegian team Lillestrøm to Coventry, so we know all about his pace and trickery.
Presty On Tour Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 colin doyle the new guy between the sticks
USRoverME Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 any bets on how long it takes for someone on 606 or the like to claim "dirty blackburn took out a keeper"
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 H/T 0-0 Come on Roberts/Derbs...time to make an impression!
philipl Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Just looked at the Man U team and bench. Coventry must really fancy winning that one. Malta now have two other forwards in the Michael Mifsud mould. The Turkish defence had serious problems.
USRoverME Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 for teh dirty blackburn record, fouls: Rovers 3 - 10 Birmingham
Presty On Tour Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 half time and we haven't been shy on shots, 11 with only 3 on target though.
