[Archived] Uefa Cup Draw (groups)

Recommended Posts

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Cup_2007-08

Bolton in with Munich and Braga. Everton have drawn Larrissa. They all look much tougher groups than last year and the UEFA Cup seems to be getting a much better competition. I'm totally gutted we c*cked it up this year but that's football.

I hope we concentrate on the Premier League now and lets get back in there next year and go a long way..

it is gutting to miss out, but this season i dont think we had the players..next season maybe..

maybe missing out on europe this season is a good thing(i personally didnt think we had the squad for it), we wont be shattered(the same players who would play on the thursday would more the likely play on sunday(so fatigues sets in), whereas next season, if we have a good enough squad, we can chop and change..

we are out ......so who cares!!!!!

What sort of attitude is that,Fernhurst Blue.

Why shouldn't people still be interested?

We're not in Champs League, but do you say " we're not in it but who cares",or do you admit it's only a proper cup if we are in it.

I'll certainly be watching the U.E.F.A Cup,as I do every year.I certainly won't be sulking,that's a fact.

Good luck to Larissa,on a very honourable win,and good luck to Donis.

ps

Thank you Kimberley, for the the draw details. There's no need for bad manners.

Fernhurst - I couldnt agree more.

We are out, so lets concentrate on the rest of the season and cheer the lads on to another European (champions league?) spot for next season.

Well this thread is headed as U.E.F.A Cup.

If your not interested, then why put it on here.

I'm sure there's enough threads on here that suit your preferences.

The question I wanted answered was, because we are not in the Champs League, will you not be watching it.

Sorry,it just sounded like a bad loser.

never really watch the champions league ..... there is to much footy on the tele as it is, and i have a life away from the box in the corner of the room ..... as for being a bad loser, you are entitled to your opinion

Bayern are seemingly in top form at the moment and Bolton are, well, not. Will look forward to Munich pinging a load of goals past them! :D

I also hope that Larissa beat Everton too, have a few Evertonian mates and I'm sure I will never hear the end of it if they beat Larissa.:(

Its a heartening thing think how we are gonna miss this competition this season, we could have had a few good trips if we had got Hamburgs seeding !

Now we are out and have no interest I am in the who cares camp, I wish all the Brit clubs well in all competitions I just wish we were a part of it. The break will ensure Rovers go forwards and hope beyond hope that we see Rovers at Wembley instead of coms !!!

:(

In light of current performances I'm pretty sure Bolton would happily trade places with Rovers. I know if I was a notlobber I'd be bricking it too much with Premier League survival to focus on these Euro games...
