We've had a new couple move in to the flat above ours, he's a big guy and snores like a trooper. I'm reading this with interest, I'm thinking of putting the best ideas on a bit of paper and giving it to him. The two common ones I've heard of which you should try are the breathe strips (a la Fowler) and a tennis ball (or something similar) somehow fastened to your back so that you're forced to sleep on your side.
