PAFELL Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Any idea which one nicko...I can see the Hilton from where I am, I reckon I'd be able to get a good shot in from here if Ince were to emerge... I think shooting a football manager may just be a tad over the top - may save money in compo - but not recommended action. I think we'll settle for a boot out the door.
broadsword Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 What's he doing on telly? he should be sorting players out on the training ground, he's not Noel bloody Edmonds. What do they do in training? Have a little jog, then sit down for a nice cup of tea and a fairy cake before playing a bit of netball? Enough bloody excuses. Square your ar5e up and make this team hard to beat, organised, motivated and fit. There's no excuse not to, for what this chap is paid. I mean, they've just gone off to Ireland for a couple of days to get hammered, what will their training be like on Tues, Weds, Thurs? We'd be better off sticking 11 dustbins out on Saturday. Sick to death of all this nonsense, sick to teh back teeth of it. - we can't sack Ince until we get a new manager in - Ince can't win because he has ... no money (neither did hughes)/ players lost to injury (whose fault is that)/ players lost to international break (ah diddums, and Man Utd don't)/ stubbed his toe this morning and everyone hates him and life is so hard! The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and right now Paul Ince is serving up a Turd Delight. The chef has got to go, before I ram Knox's head up Matthias's ass, Matthias's head up Ince's ass, and I stick Ince's head in the centre circle.

Bryan your not Graham Souness are you?..I thought the Galatasary flag in the centre circle was far enough...
roversmum Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 out of interest did it say where winterburn was? wasnt in a manchester hotel by any chance? a studio or office of some sort (?) but I was too busy thinking what a prat he sounded rather than notice his surroundings
steverovers Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 a studio or office of some sort (?) but I was too busy thinking what a prat he sounded rather than notice his surroundings Wasn't the dole office was it?
John Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Winterburn's interview sums up part of the problem. He was saying he did not realise how little time he would have with the players. Smacks of complete lack of experience. How little time Paul has had to stamp his authority on the team etc God help us if he spends anymore time managing us.
roversmum Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Lol, that made me laugh, I worked in one for many years! I can just imagine Ince, Knox, Fowler, Winterburn and Ray lining up to sign on
alexanders Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Did the Winterburn interwiev lean towards sack or back or neither?

dennis the menace Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 and why the (Please don't use that word again), is it a part time employee, who does the talking on tv.. ffs its pitifull.. stinks of bad leadership and incompetence.. at least bring in someone, who is there on a daily basis..
broadsword Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 WHAT?! they've had 6 months, how much more time do they need? he's stuck his flaming stamp on it alright, it's a long brown skid-mark! Not enough blinking time, what do they clock on for, a quick 90 minutes on the training ground then tally-ho off to the golf course. he didn't realise how little time he'd have with them, did he not read his contract? How much are we paying this oaf a week? For us to be playing this badly, it's a definite fault in the training department, and we don't blame father Time for that (after all, 24 hours in a day last time I looked). We blame Rear Admiral Bell-end Ince. He could make tying your shoe-laces look difficult. Not enough time, I'll give you not enough time you flaming pansy cream-puff netball-playing vest-wearing two-cups-of-sugar in the tea please shandy-drinking puffty french wazzock! it's December, in May we'll get relegated unless you bloody cardboard cut-outs get thy fingers out AND DO SOMETHING! That's what enough time means!
alexanders Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Actually Winterburn is worse than Ince. He is a defensive coach ......
Hughesy Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 41 goals conceded so far - Winterburn should be kicked back to the emirates too!
T4E Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Winterburn on sky "...international games ...carling cup ...only six full weeks to work with the players ...shouldn't let in two goals quickly - has discussed this ...training is good...no prob with players (or words to that effect)" at which point I lost the plot Absolutely unbelievable that someone who only works two days a week should be complaining about not having enough time with the players. Who at the club sanctioned Winterburn giving this interview? Surely JW didn't give his sign off for him to be talking to the press making excuses. Massively unprofessional, no matter who is reponsible.
John Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 So far today has been quite painful. Quite a few 'breaking news' stories on SSN, but sadly not the one I have been looking out for!! Winterburn interview just came on again, had to change the channel....
alexanders Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 WTF ? Did anyone hear the MK Dons guy on SSN now? "The result was lying" "The play was good"

Who at the club sanctioned Winterburn giving this interview? Surely JW didn't give his sign off for him to be talking to the press making excuses. Massively unprofessional, no matter who is reponsible. What's next Monday's excuse for us letting in the standard 2 goals against Stoke.." the players were tired after their ######-up in Dublin"? "I've been under a lot of stress commuting to Accrington" "We talked about how we can only win matches if we score more than the opposition..but they just don't listen!"
roversnick Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 how is he still here if the board were going to sack him surely they would have done it today we are a laughing stock
alexanders Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 how is he still here if the board were going to sack him surely they would have done it today we are a laughing stock According to Nicko they are having a meeting now.
