Wait - some news of a sacking on the yellow banner...

"Hartlepool sack manager Danny Wilson"

Saw it.

He has managed to get 26 points this season - WHY IS INCE STILL WITH Us?

Spent a great weekend in the snow in a NT cottage in Malham inspite of the gutless result. Arrived in Settle today and rushed to look at the back of a paper and my heart sank when the headline wasn't Ince Sacked

I was sort of looking forward to this season with my usual cynical outlook... but half expecting ince and hannah to both prove me wrong.... how depressing it is that for once I was correct and that this was a step too far....

I find it so hard to belive it is taking so long for the board to decide what they are going to do, but then again after the pallaver over selecting ince (right man for the job my arse!) it will probably be march before we get a replacement... god knows who would want the job now... locked in the relegation zone with a team with no confidence and probable exodus on the horizon.

In serrious need of a pint!

Sooo, its not happening today either?

We will all know when the sacking happens - this message board will crash with everybody trying to post at the sametime.

The meeting today is to ask Ince if he wants a puppy for christmas - especially as he will have plenty of time to train it as he is no longer football manager.

if you actually watched a game you'd have seen the writing on the wall

I've got a season ticket. How many clubs have sacked the boss within a month? Who would want to work for us if we behaved like that? Dont be daft.

Oh annother little pearl of joy, I thought I share

channel hopping last night and found the ROVERs Vs chelsea match from the 98/99 season being played in full on sky.... got well into it we were 3-2 up.... untill I remebered it was the last game I watched before I joined the mob (military) and we gave away 2 goals in the last 10 mins to loose 3-4......

God I hate football right now, thinking of becoming an Egg-chaser once more, now where have I left my saints top?

Surely a bookmaker opening up odds on the next Rovers manager must have a good idea that he's gone or is going to be gone ASAP, i know Betfair have odds on the next Man Utd manager but thats more down to the fact that Fergie will retire in a few years because of old age. Maybe i'm just letting my blind hope that Ince will be gone tonight, cloud my judgement.

O'Leary and Grant are the only ones whom lift the gloom for me.... and neither will touch us with a long pole

O'leary - no thank you. I would rather have George Graham than O'leary.
