Posted this song more than a month ago, haven't been able to get to a match since Bolton away so just wondering if it has caught on at all, seemed to be getting some decent feedback!

Really think it'd go down well!

We love you... We love you... We love you...

And where you play we follow... we follow... we follow...

'Cause we support the Rovers... the Rovers... the Rovers...

And thats the way we like it... we like it... we like it.

Woooooooaaaahhh

quality would be good to see the away end bouncing to this at wigan

I'm guessing chanting Formica, in the same way that Ulrika-ka-ka-ka-ka was said by Vic and Bob isn't really a chant but I'd love to hear the fans chant it when he scored.

FORMICA-CA-CA-CA-CA

Easy song for Mauro Formica and most people know the tune - Seven Nation Army

Ohhhhhhhhhhh Mauro Formica. Simples that's assuming you pronounce his name like formeeka :tu:

im going to give this chant thing a go

To the tune of Taio Cruz - Dynamite

We throw our hands up in the air tonight(throw hands up)

Here at Eeeeewood, singing lets go

Rovers lets go

we wanna win and celebrate tonight

Singing Keano

Rovers, let's go

we came to dance, dance, dance, dance

we hit the stands

'Cause that's our, fans, fans, fans

Show us respect cause we got plans, plans, plans, plans

Rovers, Rovers, Rovers!!!!!

and the blues go on and on and on

And the blues go on and on and on

we throw our hands up in the air tonight(throw hands in the air)

Singing Keano

Rovers let go

we wanna win and celebrate tonight

Singing Robbo

Dunny, let's go

'Cause we gonna smash your club

We gon' go all night

We gon' turn it up

cause it's blue and white

Cause we told you once

Now we told you twice

We gonna turn it up

cause we blue and white

Cause Rovers goes on and on and on

And Rovers goes on and on and on

we throw our hands up in the air tonight(throw hands in the air)

Singing Keano

Rovers let go

we wanna win and celebrate tonight

Singing Niko,

Rovers let's go

could possibly make a few changes to it... :brfcsmilie:

Was trying to think of a song which hadn't been used in a chant before (as far as I was aware) and had a 'cool' factor (for the kids, ya know), and was also easy to sing. Remembered back to Bolton away a few years back when at the end of the game they played 'Shoot The Runner' by Kasabian. Me and my Dad were singing Shoot The Dingle, but it didn't catch on.

Shoot the dingle, shoot shoot the dingle,

Staying down in the Championship

Shoot the dingle, shoot shoot the dingle,

Andy Porters the prison guards bitch, Ahhhhhh

Then more can be sung for the next bit, but I hadn't thought that far ahead.

Gotta give the Wolves fans a big :tu:

They gave Man Utd`s sheep some good chants.....

(to the tune of 'you`re not singing anymore'....)

"we support!

we support!

we support our local team!"

&

"Live round the corner,

you all live round the corner.

Live round the corrrrr-ner

you all live round the corner"

they also gave Rooney plenty of stick....

"where were you?

where were you?

where were you in africa?

& something about being fat & sh4gging grannies

Yes very original

Some Rovers fans at the wigan game were trying to get that song going that was posted on here a few week back 'we love u, we love u, we love u and everywhere we follow, we follow...etc

Yes, fair play to them, they were stood next to me, and they sit near us in the BBE, not enough people helped them, and we were bang in the middle of the stand at Wigan, it was difficult to get anything going as both sides of the stand were starting songs to be fair to them.

Anyway, as posted in the Wigan thread, hats off to the guys that did this on the fly

I thought this was quite cool, The diddy song sung on the train back from Wigan by The Rovers supporters "We're coming home, we're coming home, let the rain, wash away, all the pain of today, I know my Ewood awaits, where we'll forgive all mistakes, We're coming home, we're coming home, we lost 4-3 but we're going home..."

Diddy song with lyrics is here:

  • 4 weeks later...

As I'm writhing with anger at the plight of our beloved Rovers I can only think to suggest a few chants for the Blackpool game:

"Kean Out! Kean Out! Kean Out!

"Sack the board, sack the board, sack the board"

And, most importantly, "There's only one Jack Walker"

What is it with rovers fans, I honestly believe we hate burnley more than we love rovers, all the songs at fulham where anti burnley or barmy army which is the worst chant ever, why is it so hard to get even the most loyal dedicated fans to sing about our club, I couldnt care less about burnley
