Greedy_Crawford Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Would love it to be Robbie Keane. Not had a good goal celebration at Ewood since Kuqi "Bellyflops". They used to shake your pie out of your hand....

magicalmortensleftpeg Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Regarding 11 oclock: Im guessing Jelavic off to Rangers, Beattie going nowhere, Moa being watched, Diouf coming in, the new Indian bid not all that its cranked up to be, Roberts not getting any suitors and Grella staying.

Sounds plausible. Time for bed then, no point waiting up....
Hi Mack Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Sounds plausible. Time for bed then, no point waiting up.... If thats it, I think Nicko would have suggested staying away from sharp objects rather than drink!
sparkspakespoke Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Sounds plausible. Time for bed then, no point waiting up.... Its not even half nine man!
JamieUK Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 My guess is diouf in but with a strict assurance he plays...
Kelbo Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 My guess is diouf in but with a strict assurance he plays... I can assure you Diouf trained with Rovers today!!
Hi Mack Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 My guess is diouf in but with a strict assurance he plays... Diouf confirmed on official text service...
Backroom Tom Posted August 6, 2010 Backroom Posted August 6, 2010 Nice to have that confirmed now let's have another next week and we can look forward to Everton a bit more
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Diouf confirmed on official text service... Official website as well http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10303~2113330,00.html
budha Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Rovers have swooped to secure a loan deal for Manchester United's highly-rated young striker Mame Biram Diouf. The Senegalese international arrives on a season-long deal at Ewood Park. Diouf, 22, who signed for United last July from Norwegian side Molde, made six appearances for the Reds last season scoring once, against Burnley. He netted 33 goals in 75 games during his time in Norway where he earned a great reputation. Diouf could figure in Rovers' friendly at Hearts tomorrow and will then join up with the Senegal under-21 squad for a fixture on Tuesday. http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10303~2113330,00.html
Hi Mack Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10303~2113330,00.html Champions League anyone?..............anyone?
nicko Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 The can't be bothered waiting until 11 o'clocker... REO-COKER...thanks to a very early tip from the 1864Rover chappie...Rovers have been in for Reo-Coker...basically he can come if he wants too...the fee may be as low as £1 million...he played for Aston Villa tonight but that makes no difference...I hear his agent is up for it and the player may well come for talks...he had a chance of going to Lazio recently but that fell through...his contract is up next summer, so Villa will take a low fee...no doubt the Leprauchaun will dispute the fee...but there we go... MIDFIELD...so somebody surely has to be leaving ifr this happens...I presume Reo-coker would have to join before that happens...but with his wages I would guess there has to be an exit to go with it. Grella? Maybe...but the Turks are the Turks, so you never know for sure... STRIKERS...Diouf coming...but he can't be the senior striker surely...a couple being watched this weekend...could be two more coming if Jason Roberts leaves. ROBERTS...heard the QPR link...but his wages are a bit rich for them...they are not as minted as some would have you believe.
brfcshabba Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 The can't be bothered waiting until 11 o'clocker... Not too bad
Backroom Tom Posted August 6, 2010 Backroom Posted August 6, 2010 People will shoot it down but Reo Coker would e great for us but he has turned us down before so may do again. How old is he now 30? Good little player would slot in our midfield well
ewoodpo Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Nice to have that confirmed now let's have another next week and we can look forward to Everton a bit more Now your getting greedy
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Reo-Coker is pretty much better than anything we currently have in midfield (better than Keith, Pedersen and Grella anyway) so I would definitely take him. Let's hope Sam can tame that ego though. How old is he now 30? Good little player would slot in our midfield well 26. £1 million, 26 years old= Re-sale if we can get him back to something like his form at West Ham.

Ive always said Reo-Coker would be Class for us. strong, agressive him Nzonzi and Dunn would have a good balance to it! Am i confident? I think the biggest hurdle is Mr Reo-Cokers Ego!

Wow would be happy with that, much better partner for N'Zonzi than anything we currently have. Diouf and Reo Coker wwould represent a significant strengthening of the team.
ffan Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 I thought you were struggling to find funds for a striker? So where is this one million for Reo Coker coming from? Why not just add it to the striker fund and get that Jelavic fella. Your midfield can be sorted next summer.
