Kelbo Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Point taken. but the bit in bold is happening if any of us write things that are seen as anti - venky or Kean. Both sides of the coin have a right to an opinion. Yet both 'sides' slag each other off, and choose not to agreee to disagree or even have a debate about the subject. People hear things from within the club. But are limited to what they can say. Instead of caling such liars, as has often been indicated. People should just note what has been said and choose to believe it or not. Bingo, that is the problem, one or two on here appear to be bully boys, fortunately I can handle them despite the fact that by continually naming posters personally and attempting to Bully and ridicule. They may want to make sure they dont leave themselves open to a lawsuit, it would only take one person to take offence and Cyber Bullying is now a criminal offence.

BuckyRover Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 No, he's a crap player. Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd and Spurs have no idea what real talent is. United signed the best young English centre half 9 years ago for £30m. This young centre half was around 24 years old and had played over 170 games at the top level. He had also represented Leeds in the champions league and his country. He was previously sold to Leeds for 18m after playing over 120 games for West Ham and already had at least 8 England caps. No comparison. In a few years he probably will be better. But you don't pay over the odds for probably.
watford-rover Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 how long until this bad news is out? the sooner the better, all this tension is sending my blood pressure through the roof!
neophox Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 To clarify this, straight cash £16m means we get 16m and not Diouf on loan or signing. Thats the good news. The bad news coming is that the money will not be used to buy players. Instead it will be invested in the academy producing young players? I am right?
Hughesy Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 how long until this bad news is out? the sooner the better, all this tension is sending my blood pressure through the roof! 11pm Iv a feeling the bad news will be Samba or Givet, although that is just a hunch
Mercer Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 How much for RSC? £5m and £90000 p/w in wages, plus a full time physio and a dozen treatment tables. He has shown nothing since leaving Rovers, look elsewhere PLEASE. If Kean signs Roque then I'll be convinced once and for all that he really is a puppet. Think you've hit the nail on the head hence his 'window dressing' of RSC.
Kelbo Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Well then you must be gutted that he's leaving but he is only a good player with bags of potential. He is not the Anelka and Drogba destroying better than Rio super defender you portray. He's in demand as he's English, young and decent. 16 million is good business for all concerned in my opinion. He for me has it all, good on the ball, strong, committed, can tackle, can pass and is very mobile, to come into the premiership now is much more difficult than when Rio came in, much better players, quicker players, Jones is no slouch either, for me he will Captain England at some stage, I really feel he is that good. On the other side of the coin we have Hanley and Peacock and both cpould push on to be good prem defenders, not to mention Ramm and Adam Henley, so we have one or two more coming through.
Emge Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I surely hope that the bad news he is refering to has got nothing to do with Samba. If we lose him as well now Im gonna throw up!!!
rebelmswar Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Entirely? Its a clause, they had NO choice. :!: Seriously get a grip! They allowed the clause in there. They had PLENTY of choices. Still he agreed to leave. Bah on football in general.
novella Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 To clarify this, straight cash £16m means we get 16m and not Diouf on loan or signing. Thats the good news. The bad news coming is that the money will not be used to buy players. Instead it will be invested in the academy producing young players? I am right? I'm guessing with arsenal missing out on jones they will go for samba. This is my guess on the bad news anyways.

No they are buying mcdonalds at ewood park and turning into venky's
Brownie Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Prefer those to Hoilett refusing a contract extension. What bad business that would be
Gogger Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 In a few years he probably will be better. But you don't pay over the odds for probably. In todays marked, yes you do. Bad news: No J.Jones, RSC signing, Samba furious on the sale of P.Jones, Hoilett dont get along with Kean and fancyes a switch to NUFC.... Happy days..
Tim Southampton Rover Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I'm expecting Samba to leave, obviously that's bad but it's no surprise. I think the following would make us even more unhappy: - Hoilett doesnt sign a new contract - Robinson gets sold - We purchase RSC and M.Diouf for larger fees than their worth - We don't get the full money put back into the transfer market
Amo Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 To be honest, watching Jones hit the big-time at his age, is only gonna make Samba's feet even itchier.
Ripleys love child Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Samba to go to arsenal for 15 million. That gives us in the region of 40 to 50 million to spend. Keans gone to India to get sacked and Benitez to get job with an hefty war chest. What you think guys?
neophox Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Why hasn't Jones signed yed? nothing on Uniteds official website. Nickos please tell us the potential bad news?
Roversi Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 this shows us one thing, if Venky's are going to invest the majority of the money recieved into the academy then all this rubbish about providing funds for top players is all nonsense and that they do intend to do stuff on the cheap. over the last couple of days im beginning to get real ###### at Kean and Venky's. Kean stated a couple of weeks ago that Jones will only leave if a offer bigger than we ever recieved came in, we then sell Jones for 16 million. he also intends to give Benjani a new contract whilst getting rid of Kalinic, plus wanting Cruz and Diouf back on permanents. The Summer we where apparently promised looks like it's going to be a dud.
Mercer Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 if both Hoilett and Samba exit, then its the right time for a protest. There will have to be alot of explainin Time for protest has been and gone. As supporters, we all missed the boat and now we will be paying for it.
Bobby G Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Protests won't make a difference. We aren't those type of fans either.
neophox Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Im starting to believe that Venkys wants to make profit of the club in selling our best players and sing young players and develope them..
watford-rover Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 come on nicko! my F5 button is wearing out from all the refreshing of this page!
BRFC1995 Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 To be honest, watching Jones hit the big-time at his age, is only gonna make Samba's feet even itchier. too right. be amazed if hoillet and samba are here after the summer.............i'll be steaming if santa and mame are, or some garbage like upson and miller.

I think the following would make us even more unhappy: - Hoilett doesnt sign a new contract - Robinson gets sold - We purchase RSC and M.Diouf for larger fees than their worth - We don't get the full money put back into the transfer market You forgot the dreaded 'kean given extended contract'
