booth Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I can't see Raul coming here, very surprising if he does. Come on, Balaji managed to get Lennox Lewis & Akon to open, in India, what was the equivalent of KFC. Raul should be easy

Ste B Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 To the tune of Robin Hood "Goodwillie, Goodwillie coming up the middle Goodwillie, Goodwillie giving it a right good fiddle Gonna blast it in the back, give it a right good whack Goodwillie, Goodwillie" Not great, but I had to give it a try! Please, don't insult our new boy. He is nothing like Miller. He has far more potential than that waste of space. bbcjimspence jim spence Wording changed in legal agreement causing the Goodwillie hold up. Once sorted deal will be signed off. And yes I'm sick to back teeth of it Gotta love how he never gives an explanation for anything. Wording, what wording? FOOL! Could be worse, I was trying to work something out to Sweets "Little Willy"
patrickvalery Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Come on, Balaji managed to get Lennox Lewis & Akon to open, in India, what was the equivalent of KFC. Raul should be easy He might do well to recruit them to help the Raul cause. If Lennox doesn't frighten him into signing maybe Akon can threaten him with a perfomance.
BRFC_Pilkz Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Very happy about this signing. Young and deffinatley will improve! I'm glad he did sign otherwise i would of looked like an idiot with Goodwillie's signature on my shirt. Does this make me the first Rovers fan with his signature? Did he say anything Callum or did he just sign and walk off ?
Laurence Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Could be worse, I was trying to work something out to Sweets "Little Willy" Its definately in there somewhere.
Roost Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Could be worse, I was trying to work something out to Sweets "Little Willy" Sweet! My dad arrested them in the 70's for smashing up the Norbreck Castle hotel in Blackpool! Anyway, great signing. Well chuffed.
misterbigalow Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Its definitely official - the official Blackburn Rovers iPhone app has a video of Goodwillie holding the shirt. I don't have a subscription to that so I can't watch it, its not even on Rovers Player, grr! EDIT: And now its gone! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD ROVERS, SORT IT OUT!
callumrovers Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Did he say anything Callum or did he just sign and walk off ? [/quote Well to be honest i think he was in a bit of a rush. Was very polite when i asked him to sign my shirt, didnt have any issue with it! The only question i asked him was if he had signed yet in which he replied "No, not yet" But now he has so we can relax Seemed abit sheepish when he saw the sky camera man running towards us when he was signing the shirt. The only reason i knew it was him was because as i was watching the cars coming into the training ground, his agent who was driving drove past the entrance and had to reverse back down the road Which made me think it is obviously someone who hasnt been here before.
niggit Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Hope we go bid for Jelavic, something small, just to really annoy Rangers.
AmazinTim Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6rDWqjnW7w#at=51 Start at 51 seconds, Oooh Oh, He's got an eye for goal! Go Go Goodwillie! Oooh Oh, He $hites on your back four! Go Go Goodwillie!
roversfanben Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Hope we go bid for Jelavic, something small, just to really annoy Rangers. Haha, that'd be great. Start off at £1m, then £1.05m and keep going up to £3m insisting the entire time that he wants to join us and that we've bid as high as anyone else who has bid for him. People think we looked bad in all this, just how much damage has this done to Ranger's reputation?
misterbigalow Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Glad its back, just hope they get a wriggle on and get it on Rovers Player so I can watch it!
Blackburn Ravers Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 nice piece from Arab Trust: Goodie: Thanks for the memories From your progression through the United Youth System, that first SPL goal at Easter Road and right through to your last one in tangerine against Slask, us Arabs have been with you for the ride every step of the way. If you ask ten people what their favourite Goodie moment is, with so much to choose from, you'll probably get ten different answers. But visualise those answers and you're left with a stunning highlight reel of classic football moments now etched into United history. From the highs of that beautiful May day at Hampden to the crushing disappointment of that March evening at Fir Park, it was a journey that us Arabs will never forget. Dispite the odd defeat to Hamilton here, a League or Scottish Cup exit there, for the fans on it with you, it's been a rollercoaster that few wanted to get off of. Whatever twists and turns your story may now take, we are left with spectacular memories that will last forever. For that, we thank you from the bottom of our tangerine hearts. Good luck from your friends at ArabTRUST, David. http://www.arabtrust.co.uk/current/?529-goodie-thanks-for-the-memories
T.J.Newton Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 closest player i can say he reminds me of is bellamy(only going of his youtube vids!), short(for a footballer) but strong so no pushover, quick, skilfull(but not to show boaty), clinical finisher and can create goals for others, also a bit of a gobby irratating little sausage so winds the oppo up.

Hekla Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 He's got a great build. Looks good holding up that Rovers shirt.

Can you imagine English fans being that respectful when their best player leaves? I bet (if it happens) we slag Samba off to high heaven when he leaves us. Well done, Dundee United fans, you have restored my faith in football supportes with a few little paragraphs.
John Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Promising signing, hopefully he can make the step up,
neophox Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Nice one. Looking forward to see his debut on saturday. Also Petrovic transfer will be completed by the end of the week. Next up Raul? Great piece of business buying two 22 year old players for low fees.
Roost Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Any truth in the rumour his Squad No. is 69?! No! Welcome and good luck.
