Due to a complete cock-up on the ordering front I have a single ticket to see Bruce Springsteen at Anfield on Wednesday 4th June I would like to get rid of. My wife and I are going with friends on Saturday 7th and my son was buying an odd ticket near us to come along but between us we managed to order for the wrong date. I'd like some money for it but I'm happy to accept less than we paid for it.

More recently, the Wrecking Ball album was brilliant, Bruce was angry with those robbing bankers, capitalism and the burden being placed on me and you to bail the swines out.

I got his first 3 albums in a box set sometime in the early 1980’s. I’d never been a fan before then but that box set converted me. The two you mention plus “ Born To Run “ .I’ve got to be honest, they are the only Springsteen albums I bought but I can reccomend them.

I like to think I have an eclectic taste in music but the Boss has never really floated my boat tbh. I don’t really care for his voice. Fair play to the fella for the career he’s had though and he always gives good value at his gigs.

I feel a bit like that to be honest. I’ve got friends who go to his live shoes and rave about them.

All you need to know today's is Iron Maiden are still awesome live. Sure they did the hits the hardcore fans would moan about, but they didn't them at full speed and volume when they are in their 60s. 

If any of us had that liveliness at that age, we'd be happy. And Bruce's voice was great.

I’ll be seeing the Boss again at Anfield on Saturday night. Third time for me, plus his cameo with Paul McCartney at Glastonbury a few years ago.

A genius indeed. The first record I bought with my own money was Good Vibrations in late 1966 as a 14 year old. I’m not sure whether it was prescient to buy one of the best ever pop songs at such a young age or a curse to realise that it was all downhill from there.

I was privileged to see him several times from 2005 when he finally got his life back and before dementia caught him.

To paraphrase one of the great lyrics - “I might not always love him, but as long as there are stars above him”.
