G Somerset Rover Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Not sure why anyone would feel the need to be cryptic at the moment about something non transfer related. We all just want the rats out. Quote
because of boxing day Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Were these crystal ball lyrics by Davies & Hodgson of Supertramp from "Rudy" on the Crime of the Century album 1974 Rudy's on a train to nowhere, halfway down the line He don't wanna get there, but he needs time He ain't sophisticated, nor well-educated After all the hours he's wasted, still he needs time He needs time, he needs time for living He needs time, for someone just to see him He ain't had no loving For no reason nor rhyme And the whole world's above him Well it's not as though he's fat No there's more to it than that See he tries to play it cool Wouldn't be nobody's fool Rudy thought that all good things comes to those that wait But recently he could see that it may come too late Too late, too late All through your life All through the years Nobody loved, nobody cared So dim the light, dark are your fears Try as I might I can't hold back the tears How can you live without love, it's not fair Someone said give But I just didn't dare, I didn't dare, I didn't dare What good advice are you waiting to hear Hearing's alright for them that's all there, hearing's alright You'd better, you'd better gain control now You'd better show 'em all now You'd better make or break now You'd better give and take now You'll have to push and shove now You'll have to find some love now You'd better gain control now Now he's just come out the movie Numb of all the pain Sad but in a while he'll soon be Back on his train 1 Quote
Popular Post OnionBalaji Posted Sunday at 06:50 Popular Post Posted Sunday at 06:50 Head of Football Operations … no prior experience Absolutely destroyed the team & forced a lot of long time staff of the club out the door The sooner we are rid of him and his pal Val the better. Ismael needs sacking today! 20 Quote
Popular Post davulsukur Posted Sunday at 09:35 Popular Post Posted Sunday at 09:35 Assume RG will be sacked at the end of the season, whether we stay up or not? It's clear that the data driven approach to player recruitment and the appointment of Ismael has been a spectacular disaster. Oh, wait, we're not a normal club are we? He'll probably get promoted to CEO 15 Quote
Scotty1991 Posted Sunday at 10:09 Posted Sunday at 10:09 Just want to see a video pop up on social media of one of our more unhinged supporters absolutely pelt him for a solid 15 minutes, pure unadulterated Lancastrian gob shite abuse! 2 1 Quote
Rogerb Posted Sunday at 13:58 Posted Sunday at 13:58 Put this here as suspect Rudy is the type to read this thread. Saw a lad yesterday playing for Bamber Bridge only recently arrived from Thornton Cleveleys. Way too good for this level. Archie Thomas Lang a 20 year old midfielder with a man of the match performance. Go and have a look Rudy rather than trawling the basement of the Belgian leagues. Quote

JHRover Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago You think back to the spine and camaraderie we had through the team last year - Eustace-Travis-Batth-Brittain-Hyam-Dolan-Weimann - you could see it on the pitch - real togetherness and fighting spirit and mates off the pitch as well. This lot....good grief. It's enough to make you weep especially when you look at how Derby, Wrexham and Middlesbrough are getting on now and think about the willingness with which Rovers fans were willing to support and go along with that 'project' to dismantle what we had and replace with this lot. Still look on the bright side, the lowlife and their stooges have saved themselves a chunk of cash. Just a shame that will be wiped out with interest when we get relegated. 1 Quote
