For who? You don't mean us do you? I don't think an injury-hit season in League Two is going to get him in the squad here, at least when Pickering and Ribeiro are fit. Think it would be more beneficial for him to have another loan, at least til January. 1 Quote

I believe he can become Championship standard if he is given the opportunity. He should get chances to impress in pre season and if Ismael doesn't think he's up to it then he will move on, perhaps permanently. Quote

He has to sign a new contract first, as things stand he's a free agent end of next month. 1 Quote

KentExile Posted May 14 Posted May 14 (edited) On the bench this evening Markanday - drew 1-1 (3-3 on aggregate) won on pens - came on in extra time - Final is on Sunday 25th May Not involved in matchday squad Vale - won 3-0 - currently injured - final game of the season is on Sunday Edited May 15 by KentExile 1 Quote
KentExile Posted May 18 Posted May 18 (edited) No surprise here, but for the sake of completeness Not involved in matchday squad today Vale - drew 1-1 - currently injured - finished 2nd in the "relegation" group Rovers are also currently looking for a new loan manager. This role was (at least partially) covered by Stuart Jones this season just gone, although he has now left the club Edited May 19 by KentExile 1 Quote
KentExile Posted Sunday at 09:07 Posted Sunday at 09:07 (edited) Last of these for this season, seeing as technically Markanday is still our player until his contract expires at the end of June. On the bench today Markanday - lost 1-0 - Markanday didn't get off the bench, Given that Orient didn't have a shot on target until the last minute of injury time, he must be completely out of favour as they seemed to be crying out for someone like him The Leyton Orient fans seem to like him, with several saying they hope they sign him in the summer Edited Sunday at 15:10 by KentExile 2 Quote
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted Monday at 07:42 Posted Monday at 07:42 As they say - not big enough, not in the game enough. Having said that ACD was no better. 1 Quote

All to get a small increase in wage contribution. No strategy at our club, just short term focus. If they had any strategic focus they'd have kept him at Chesterfield and increased his resale value. Instead failed and looked short term and ended up getting nothing for him Quote

He was doing well in League 2 but you obviously arent going to get anything other than a nominal fee for a player doing quite well in League 2. A step up to League 1 made sense but unfortunately he wasnt quite good enough. Makes sense to let him go and try and forge a career. Quote
