I dont see the evidence that he has been sold a fairytale.

All he has done so far is declined an old contract from us which is almost certainly nowhere near fair.

We are 11 days post contract expiry, I think the month after expiry is also paid. So its not like we can conclude that no one has come in for him, still time to mull over his next very important move

So this latest deal is not happening now.  Medical issues have been suggested.  Perhaps he was on the treadmill and someone asked him about the 10k cap.

I think there will be quite a long list of clubs interested in Dolan. Especially on the cheap, it's an absolute no brainer..

All the best to JRC. At one point under JDT he was immense, if only he had been able to kick on and become a key player.  If Charlton can get a tune out of him then they've got a decent player, but it was definitely time for him to move on from Rovers. Things had gone very stale for him at the club.

Same with Buckley, he needs a fresh start elsewhere.

Joe was excellent during that spell under JDT, I think the following 18 months has seen his form fall off a cliff.

Would love to see us deploy a front two, think this could be a big year for Gueye. I'd like to see him actually play a slightly deeper role, think he has great feet and can win a flick on, play a quick lad who can press on the last man..

Some pace at wide and this big lad (if we get him) in the middle- at least it's going to be interesting..

Couldn’t agree more. Aside from Khadra, difficult to recall anyone with genuine pace since Josh King, and Bowyer kept him on the bench.

If he is going to cost us a threpnny' bit more than £520K per annum, I say let him leave and seek his avaricious satisfaction elsewhere. I, for one, yearn for the days of champagne, canapes, lines of coke and mainline shots of Bolivian marching powder up the nostrils, as those were the best days of Robbie Fowler's career (at Rovers). However, as a long standing (but more often than not these days prone in the gutter) fan of our great old club, I accept that nobody other than Chaddy himself, actually gives a horned shit anymore about anything coming from the establishment. 

I shall rock silently on the terracing of many an away ground this coming season, safe in the knowledge that the Legacy of Jack Walker, and my own 45 years investment in the club I love is in cracking hands.
