roverandout Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Hoddle should have taken him to 98 world cup. Him and le tissier would have given us something different. Especially when we were down to 10 men against Argentina. Hoddle just didn't like players who were equal to his ability 2 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Gazza was a very good player and I will always remember his goal against Scotland in Euro 96 2 Quote

World Cup 94 was my first memories of international football competitions and my first memory was England beating San Marino after the scored in the first seconds of the game Quote

... Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago 8 years old in my blue n white stripes pyjamas sat on the bottom step sobbing my heart out after Waddles miss and mum saying "That's it theyre out he's missed it what a shame" Tears just came out and i didnt even have a clue why. All I know is I love watching England in tournaments I dont care if its boring to most. Still have those hopes and dreams as a kid, seeing them play. I owe it to that 8 year old to win a major. If we won a world cup I'd absolutely lose my shit 🤣 You can imagine the rest when we won several shoot outs in recent years. Yep I cried. Quote
